In our latest HORROR HOOKUP, we welcome writer/director Amy Taylor! Amy's latest work is HUNTER'S WEEKEND. After writing and directing several well-received short films (DEADMAN - Official Selection of the 2011 LA Comedy Festival, and JESS ARCHER VS. THE EX - Official Selection of the 2012 Dragon*Con International Short Film Festival), Amy created the web series JESS ARCHER VERSUS. After debuting on YouTube, JESS ARCHER VERSUS was picked up for distribution on Amazon, and is an official selection of the 2017 HollyWeb Festival, where it screened at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles.  Listen in to yet another amazing interview with an artist working in the genre!

Horror Hook Up: Author Paul Tremblay Bram Stoker Award and British Fantasy Award-winning author Paul Tremblay joins Andrew and Matty to discuss his novels The Cabin at the End of the World, Disappearance at Devil’s Rock, A Head Full of Ghosts, and the crime novels The Little Sleep and No Sleep Till Wonderland. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Shirley Jackson Awards, and his essays and short fiction have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Entertainment Weekly online, and numerous year’s-best anthologies. He has a master’s degree in mathematics and lives outside Boston with his family.  This interview was simply FABULOUS with Paul, and we hope you love him and his work as much as we do!

FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL is the story of a group of friends in England experiencing life after university. Their summers are filled with weddings, so much so they often don’t even remember which is which! It’s all fun and games for Charles (Hugh Grant) until he meets an American named Carrie (Andie McDowell) at (you guessed it!) a wedding. Meeting Carrie suddenly makes Charles wonder why he’s always going to weddings, but never getting married himself! Is it a fear of commitment? Is it just meeting the wrong girl, over and over again? 4W&AF takes us through love and loss, in a very early-90s England, and reminds viewers that only they can define what love and marriage look like to themselves, and that they should be entirely authentic about it. HORROR HOOKUP: Chicago's own ADAM SELZER! Adam Selzer is an author and historian that has spent over a decade running hundreds of tours per year for companies such as Chicago Hauntings, Shoreline Sightseeing, and Weird Chicago. Early in his career, he began fact-checking the stories commonly told on such tours and found that they were a mess! With painstaking research, he rebuilt the stories he was telling from the ground up, spending hours poring through reels of microfilm, piles of paper from the legal archives, and drawers full of long-forgotten photos and documents.
