6. Chapter 5 – One man sinned, one Man saves In chapter five, Paul uses the examples of two men. First Adam and then Jesus. Through one man, sin entered the world, resulting in death. Through Jesus, we receive the gift that brings life. This week we will look at the contrasts between Adam and Jesus.

Segment 2: Sanctification by Faith Episode 5: Romans Chapter 4 – Abraham’s Example Paul continues to build his argument for justification by faith by using the forefather of the Jewish nation as an example of justification by faith. This week we will look at how Abraham was made righteous before the Law existed.

Episode 4: Romans 3 – Everyone needs Salvation All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We have seen that God hates sin, the Gospel is the power of salvation, and God will judge sin, but He has provided a way for us to be justified before Him. This week we will look at what it means to be justified by faith.

Episode 3: Chapter 2 - The Jews are Without Excuse In chapter one, we saw that God’s wrath was revealed, that man is without excuse as God has made Himself known to all. God hates sin, and because He is just, He will judge those who sin. No sinner escapes the judgement of God, not even those who have the Law. This week we will look at God's judgement.

Chapter 1 – The Gospel is the Power to Save Romans starts with Paul’s introduction. He is set apart for the Gospel; he is not ashamed of the Gospel, and he has committed his life to the Gospel. Why? This week we will look at the power of the Gospel to save the world.

1. Overview – Why the Book of Romans? The book of Romans is known as the best letter ever written. This letter is filled with foundational truths. Some have called it the constitution of our faith. In this week's episode, we will set the stage for seventeen episodes of Romans. We will look at the historical context, the segments and more.

The Final Principles Jesus has sent us out into the world to proclaim His gospel, the world is a hostile place, and it seems that it is getting harder and harder to find people willing to listen to the truth of God’s Word. This week we will look at some key principles that will help us fulfil the great commission.

The Commissioning The hour had come, and Jesus was going to be crucified on the cross. Jesus spent 3 years preparing His disciples for His departure. After His resurrection He would tell His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit and then send them out as witnesses to the world. This week we will look at the great commission and how it applies to you and I.

Commitment To be an endurance athlete it takes commitment, dedication, and discipline to not only start the race but to complete it. This week we will continue our teaching on the true disciple and their relationship to bearing fruit.

A True Christian “I didn’t know they were a Christian.” “Are you sure they are a Christian?” When you look at others who proclaim they are Christian do you stop and think that something doesn’t look right? What are the distinguishing traits of a true Christian? Listen to this week’s episode as we will look at the concrete evidence that proves a person is a true follower of Jesus.

Cost “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me” Matthew 16:24 Following Jesus comes at a cost. Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and follow Him. This is huge but what does it look like?

Call Everyone follows someone or something in the world whether it be a sports team, a celebrity or something on social media. What does it mean to follow Jesus as one of His disciples? This week we will look at the Jesus call to His first disciples and see what He tells us about being a disciple of Jesus. Jesus teachings are not easy but they are vital for us to know what it takes to follow Him.

You are an Overcomer! A great promise that comes from Jesus because He overcame the world. In our final episode in Revelation we will look at all of the promises Jesus gave to the churches. These promises are for us today as well. Join us as we look at the subject of overcoming the world.

This week we are looking at Jesus' final message to the seventh church in Laodicea. Jesus tells the church He is the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of creation of God. There is great power in these names and we will unpack it together. Jesus has looked into the heart of the church and He doesn’t like what He sees. The message to the lukewarm is challenging for us and we need to pay attention to what Jesus is calling this church to do. Join us as we tackle this difficult letter together.

The Church at Philadelphia The church in Philadelphia was facing immense pressure from so called Jews to conform to their ways. This small congregation was commended for staying true to God’s Word even under pressure. This week we will look at the results of Jesus X-ray and see how these truths apply to our lives.
