This week Michael and Krissa chat all things spooky……Scary films, Halloween and this week’s new films.

Michael is back in the studio with Krissa to discuss all things A STAR IS BORN, 70mm, upcoming films and of course the Russian Space program!  

This week, in cinema 9, we are joined by local comedian and lover of all things Wonka, Matthew Hardy, as we discuss the gloriousness of 70mm films, Papua New Guinea, we compare Willy Wonka suits and talk about the moon at every possible chance we can!

This week Krissa checks in with Michael, and chats football with Jade and Amy. 

The Sun Sessions introduces a real life Scotsman into the studio to discuss all things film distribution. We also discuss this week’s upcoming films and what’s happening for the school holidays.

This week, Michael checks in from East Timor, and we invite Jessie Deane, textile artist extraordinaire, into the studio to chat about her new exhibition and being the star of our brand new newsreel.

This week Michael and Krissa are joined in the studio by Derek Green, editor of The Westsider, who may or may not do a mean English accent! We chat all things Father’s Day, Field of Dreams, and upcoming films.

In a world first, Sun Sessions was Recorded live in front of a studio audience this week! Michael and Krissa were joined by Clayton Jacobson (director and actor Brother’s Nest and Kenny), Richard Pleasance (composer of the Brother’s nest soundtrack, member of Boom Crash Opera), Peter Falk (Director of Photography Brother’s nest) and Jason Byrne (Producer Brother’s Nest) and of course a cinema filled with magnificent guests who had just been lucky enough to watch a screening of BROTHER’S NEST. 

It’s a day to celebrate warm, charming Independent Cinema’s thriving across the country, so Michael and Krissa chat with president of the Independent Cinemas of Australia, as well as chat about all the upcoming films for the week.   

Michael and Krissa are joined by the ladies of Mamma Knows West to discuss all things school holidays, we discover the forgotten Wizard of Oz song  and we decide once and for all if Adam Sandler can sing!
