Award-winning author Laurel McHargue, a 1983 graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point, was raised in Braintree, MA, but found her way to the (literally) breathtaking elevation of Leadville, CO, where she lives, writes, and laughs with her husband and Ranger, the German Shepherd.
