The last few weeks, we've role-played street evangelism in class. As we wrap up this series on soul-winning, we look at some reminders that will hopefully serve as a locker room pre-game hype before taking the gospel out to the world. On this day, we went to the mall after church to witness...who will you take the gospel to after listening?

Have fun with the PowerPoint slides...You might as well thrown in 18th, 19th, & 20th Century Philosophers into the mix. Recognize it or not, these philosophies and their sub-groups have permeated us and helped make us the Laodiceans that we are today. Here, we look at how they grew to popularity.

Do you receive the Spirit at baptism? Is baptism the vehicle that provides the forgiveness, salvation, and grace of Christ? These are questions to ask anyone you suspect that might believe in baptismal regeneration (baptism for salvation). We look at all verses that supposedly support this belief and rightly divide it out.

We conclude Pentecostalism by looking at what the Bible within its proper context and rightly divided concerning their doctrines. We look at why the sign gifts are NOT applicable for today as well as conclude with the genuinely frightening reality concerning these gifts.

History is important. The time in which Pentecostalism begins to show up is no accident. In part 1, we cover the history & authorities and begin to dive into some of the doctrines concerning this ever popular movement.

There is an element of this message that we hope will forever change the way you evangelize. It is an element that has revolutionized our missionary's field in London, and we pray it does the same here. Today, we come to the focal point of soul-winning: stirring up the boldness to ASK.

An oft neglected, but necessary talking point concerning our witness is HOW we communicate the gospel message. The Bible surprisingly has plenty to say about the manner with which we speak the truths of salvation.

DO NOT let your familiarity with the gospel be a reason to not listen or follow along with the study sheet in this link. Aside from fear, one of the reasons we don't witness to the extent that we should is because we don't know how to effectively communicate the truths of the gospel.

The chart on the last page is a great timeline explaining church history! As we finish out Catholicism and move our way into Protestantism, don't let your ears deceive you: much of what you'll hear may sound familiar. There's a reason for that. As we get closer to the last days, it becomes increasingly apparent just how the antichrist will unite the world through religion in the Tribulation Period.

Have you ever seen evangelism through the book of Joshua? It's all over the first 6 chapters! When facing the giant of fear in evangelizing our land, we all need a little boost of confidence, and Joshua provides just that!

Though we're taking an overview of the 7 sacraments and what the Bible really says about them, this message is all concerned with how do we take what we know and share it in a comprehensible manner to our Catholic friends & family. We must all be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves in our approach!

Don't be fooled by the subtitle. This message is more about the path that is needed to be an effective soul-winner rather than talking about methods to witness. That's because who we are is far more important than what we do. If we're going to make an impact for Christ, we need to make sure we're going the right way.

The many personalities of the book of Esther speak directly of the various types of people in our sphere of influence that God wants us to reach. How do you evangelize these types of people? This message serves as a precursor to our new evangelism series we begin next week.

We also want to have a better understanding of the various beliefs found all around us so that we can better reach our community with the true gospel and see people come to GENUINE salvation. We kick off our fall series looking at what the Bible says constitutes a true local church.

It's during times of transition where the enemy seems to attack the most subtly. With school starting back up, and with two new studies on the way, we need to take some time of introspection to look at this all-important minor prophet. This book packs a punch, and it's what SOLID needs to help us stay focused in this time of transition.

*Opening testimony by Alex Mencini* We close out our study on the crowns by looking at the subject matter of balance and temperance. If you're a spiritual athlete running the race and fighting the good fight, you need to know how to tap into this.

Daniel's entire life was upended at the age of 15 as he was trafficked away from everything he knew. But rather than face all kinds of horrors, he was given the world and everything in it (1 Jn. 2:15-17) on a platter. He could have given himself over to the world had it not been for his purpose-driven heart. What would you do in that situation?

These back-to-back crowns go hand-in-hand as they both have to do with loving people. Remember: we're going to be tried not for how much we did these things, but "what sort it is" (1 Cor. 3:13). Is your heart for these causes?

Rather than go to 2 Kings 22, we're setting our sights on the 2 Chronicles account for additional details that are often left out for Josiah's story. What is it that God really wants you to do when you discover the book for yourself?
