All nine of IRR’s past contributors, along with key members of the In-Reach family, have collaborated to create this emotionally charged Various Artists album. "Greekboy is back again, demonstrating his highly recognisable style of addictive pads and running drum breaks. The ragga vocal sample fits perfectly with the subtle sub bass to create a drop that’s full of energy. However, always one to out-do himself, Greekboy manages to take things up one more level after the breakdown with a simple but hugely impactful switch up to the drums."

A teaser of an intro kicks things off with a half time groove and some funky, chilled-out horns, before the full drum break kicks in alongside Double Bass strings, distorted mids and smooth vocals."

"‘On My Mind’ introduces itself entirely differently to the heavy tracks on J Plates’ Brain Drain EP (IRR-005). The smooth break starts things off before being joined by summery keys and a catchy vocal. The darkness of Brain Drain is not totally lost however - after the upbeat intro, Jeremy unleashes a heavy hitting bass line to bring back the balance."

Making their debut on Rupture, we are pleased to welcome Pugilist & Tamen with the 'Looking Out EP'. The duo from Melbourne come with a unique blend for the Rupture crew, across four tracks that journey through the elements. The EP drifts between dubby tribal steppers and rolling percussion, taking its time to savour everything in between, experimenting with different tempos, textures and atmospherics. 20 years ago A Sides released Break’s debut track on his imprint East Side Records, opening a door for him to the DnB scene at large. Finally the day has come where Break can return the favour and drop an A Sides cut on Symmetry. It was worth the wait as A Sides delivers a sublime single, covering two distinct styles in the process. 'Chances’ has a classy soulful sound, tight crispy beats, and smooth production subtly restrained with a meditative edge. ‘Only One Sound’ is a classic roller, murky dubbed out flavours, steppy beats heavily underpinned by fizzy sub bass.
