Sometimes destruction is silent and we don’t have to feel pain to get hurt. That’s exactly what a distraction does! Sometimes things can get out of our hands. I, know, I get it! And when that happens, we can get stuck, confuse, lost, and straight up lazy to pursue our purpose. We have a hard time focusing our attention on what really matters! Yet we always have time to focus our attention on things that don’t. (ain’t that funny? ). The truth is though you and I can never be “too busy” to pursue purpose. In part 2, We learn the importance of keeping our word and holding ourselves accountable. Also, taking necessary actions to accomplish our goals in 2020. Keeping our momentum in order to have an AMAZING 2020 will require us to give “double” the effort—keeping God first and Sticking to the Vision. By the end of this year, if you seriously hold yourself accountable, you will reap “double” the results. We have to do things differently this time around. Yes, we are in a new year, but are you in a new state of mind? Don’t bring what didn’t work in 2019 into this year. In 2020, let’s not prepare ourselves to lose, but to win! We will lose if we don’t “keep God first and stick to the vision.” We will win if you do! Let’s be honest, singles! Loneliness is definitely a phase we go through during our single-hood. Next thing you know feeling lonely also leads many singles to become doubtful of ever finding love. And the holiday season makes it most difficult for singles who are currently in those phases to stay optimistic. That’s why I created the “The Chronicles of a Single” series. I want to be the sister in your head reminding you of what’s true! Which is when you trust God you always have hope. You have hope that your prayers will get answered even if you don’t know when. Also, that joy is not a feeling it’s a person—Jesus. If Jesus is all you have then you have all you need! You can trust that he knows what’s best for you.
