It's mid year wrap up, and of course we have to talk about how 2024 is a huge year for female pop. We're discussing the biggest songs of summer, albums that have staying power, tours that are impossible to get tickets to, and so much more.

Happy 30th Birthday to the Blue Album by Weezer. We're talking everything about one of our favorite bands. As a collective society, we all either love/hate Weezer. We talk about how they got their start, why there's such a mixed view of their music, covers, memes, and what getting weezered is.

It's summer and that means festival szn. Listen in to hear us recap Coachella and the artists that were catapulted to mainstream during those two weekends. More than 100 women in all facets of the Chicago beer industry (including your favorite beer podcast) got together to brew Vibes Since 1920. The beer pays homage to the history of women in Chicago whose unified efforts to champion equality for all, inspire change in their communities, and leave the world a better place than where they found it have paved the way for generations to come. Charolette dreamed up this opportunity as a way for women in the beer industry to connect, learn from each other, and create a network of support. In a spiritual successor to our last episode about the 2004 music scene, we're jumping 10 years to celebrate the 10 year annivesary of some of our favorite albums. We always talk about how much we love the 2014 music era, and we're finally getting to covering just what we love about it. For our last Halloween episode this year, we're talking about Killer Klowns From Outerspace. It's the 35th anniversary of this cult classic horror movie. We're joined by one of our favorite guests to try 4 different beers while discussing practical effects, the horror of clowns, and our favorite moments from the movie.

Summer's almost over and with that comes our summer wrap up. We've had an unusually busy summer (even for us), so listen in to hear what we've been up to between concerts/festivals, vacations, weddings (Congrats to our favorite Spooky month guest Trevor), and beer drinking escapades.

We've had quite a break while we waited for Lindsey's hand to heal, so we're finally back with a really fun episode. We had lunch and discussed what we could cover on an episode and came up with The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie's 20th anniversary tour of Give Up and Transatlanticism.
