Love City Live conversation w/ Creator of the CNU App - Chris Sinanan This new creative tool was created by Christopher Sinanan of Queens, NY. Coming from a background of music production, engineering, and song writing, Christopher saw a huge hole in the creative networks around him. Spending many years working with talented creatives from both New York and New Jersey (capital J), he sought to create a new way for his networks to feature their skills to a wider audience. He worked closely with Ruben Cedeno, a graphic designer whom he worked with at his current job to develop the complete look of CNU. He enrolled the assistance of Ritima Sood of Artiems Web Solutions to develop the apps coding, functions, and administrative tools needed to submit to both the apple and android app markets. About Our Guest: Stephanie Shapiro established Dance Well NY in 2008; as she started teaching Hustle & Swing in the spring of 2008 after 8 years of training. She added Ballroom to her list of expertise with a teacher training program and tested in Medalist Exams of main figures.  She LOVES teaching.  Her job, career, life is bringing the joy to others through movement of their body.  Her claim to success is teaching choreography to newer dancers and to her wedding couples.  2 out of 9 wedding couples continue on with her with private lessons for fun. She hopes to continue dancing and teaching well into her 90's. Her first love and what she is going to dedicate the rest of her life to is dancing... teaching others how to move and enjoy themselves on the dance floor... Kashif Graham is the Outreach Librarian for Religion and Theology at the Vanderbilt Divinity Library. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Spanish from CUNY Lehman College and received a Master of Arts in Church Ministry from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN. "Dance music has always spoken to my soul and whenever I listen to it," Thornton says, "my spirit automatically comes alive. It has a way of making me feel empowered, joyous, and with a complete zest for life." Thornton was born in North Carolina, but at just three years old, his parents moved to Long Island, New York, which is where young Carl was raised. He began singing at age seven and started his humble beginnings in the elementary school chorus. It didn't take long for Carl to realize that singing was what he wanted to do forever. In fact, it came as an epiphany while he was on stage at his very first performance. From that moment on, he knew that singing was what he wanted to do with his life. His talent didn't stay in one place for long — his remarkable voice has taken him all over the world to places like Austria, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
