It’s been a long time but Galway had better get ready for some seriously good comedy. The Galway Comedy Festival returns for it’s first post-lockdown, no restrictions necessary, all the craic extravaganza. With 100 comedians taking to stages all over the city, and tonnes of other gas events, it’s shaping up to be a week to remember. Reginald D Hunter is just one of the amazing comedians on the line up and he joined Dermot and Dave to chat being back in Ireland, sausages and what we can expect from his show!

Did you catch something amazing in Irish skies? We've been hearing reports from everywhere from Limerick to Dublin, Donegal to Waterford of people spotting something 'green' flying through the skies. Our favourite space commentator Leo Enright joined Dermot and Dave to explain what it could be and if we'll be seeing more of them!

We all know 'The Da Vinci Code' whether it's from the best-selling book or the hugely popular film. Dan Brown followed it up with another best-seller 'Angels and Demons'. But that wasn't the first thing Dan Brown produced called 'Angels and Demons'. In Dave's World, we found out about the incredible back-story to one of the world's most famous books.

He’s a gas man, so we were only too delighted to have Lewis Capaldi in for a ‘What’s the Story’ special. Lewis spoke to Dermot and Dave about returning to music, his INCREDIBLE music video for his new single ‘Forget Me’ and told us why Ed Sheeran owes him big time!

Since the passing of Queen Elizabeth, there’s been huge changes in the UK. They have a new monarch, a new Queen consort and a new national anthem. But what else will change, and when? Andrew Lowth from the TodayFM newsroom did some sleuthing to find out what’s going to happen to things like Sterling and post boxes!

Out on September 16th, the film tells the story of a washed up former popstar who befriends a neurodiverse drummer to create something incredible. Director Eddie Sternberg and producer Collie McCarthy joined Dermot and Dave to chat about the background to the film, the importance of music within and the importance of using a neurodiverse cast.

We all know if we're a lefty or a righty when it comes to our hands, most people even know if they're right or left footed. But, did you know that you're either left or right eyed? In Dave's World, we found out about the simple test you can take to figure out your dominant eye.

Want to try some of the best pizza in the world? Good news, you don't even have to go near the airport! The Dough Bros in Galway have been named as one of the world's Top 100 pizzerias and the single best in the country. Ronan and Eugene Greaney aka The Dough Bros travelled to Naples for the special event where they were listed as the No. 79 best pizzeria in the world, and were also named the Top Pizzeria in Ireland 2022. Ronan and Eugene joined Dermot and Dave to chat about the awards, making the perfect dough and revealed their favourite toppings.

We always had our suspicions around ladybirds! There's nothing quite like getting an insight into someone's mind, and there's really nothing quite like seeing what's going on in our Dermot's head. In Say Stuff That Suits the Music Dave plays music to Dermot that he's never heard before. The result is often very weird but always gas.

Going to space is an incredible feat but actually living in space for months on end is something else entirely. Tim Peake is the first person from the UK to spend time on the International Space Station, and he even managed to run a marathon while up there! Tim is bringing his incredible story to Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre and he joined Dermot and Dave to chat all things space!

She’s one of Ireland’s top footballers and she has high hopes for womens football in this country and beyond. Stephanie Roche joined Dermot and Dave to chat football, changing her name and her work with JustEat.

Back in 2018, Mary O'Donnell was listening to TodayFM when she heard Norah Patten speaking about her hopes to become the first Irish woman to go space. This chat inspired Mary to go after her dream to visit space school in the US. Since then, the Aeronautical Engineering student has been doing incredible things! Mary joined Dermot and Dave to talk about going from Limerick to working for Boeing and her hopes for space travel.
