When Neil in Laois got in touch with Dermot and Dave, he was not having a good day. He'd had a bad sleep, he was cranky, he was unmotivated and he was stuck working from home. So, we did what we do best. We gave him a call and tried to cheer him up. Of course, in the interest of him not getting into trouble in work, we had to do some subtle name changing to protect his identity. 'James' spoke to Dermot and Dave about his reluctance to go to the old favourite of coffee and sugar to get him through the rest of the day. But, that got us thinking. Could we give James/Neil, the best day in work ever? The answer? Yes. We got comedian Eric Lalor to do a stand up set in his back-garden, arranged a bouncy castle with Damien from SoFreshEntertainment.ie and even a glitter beard from Amanda at Glitter Babes and Inked Dudes. The moral of the story is, if you're having a bad day, the only people to call are Dermot and Dave.

It’s finally here. The long-awaited, much anticipated prequel to Game of Thrones is finally coming to our screens but you might want to set an alarm. House of the Dragon kicks off this weekend on Sky Atlantic and in Pamela’s Telly, we found out how you can be amongst the first in the world to watch it.

Ian and Emma are in town to help support Irish women’s grassroots football with Cadbury’s new campaign ‘The Game Is On’. Cadbury have created the ‘The Game is On’ initiative to ensure grassroots women’s teams get the visibility they deserve. As the grassroots season gets underway, Cadbury have teamed up with ten clubs nationwide to help them promote their club on a local level with the creation of uniquely designed posters.

While the housing crisis in Ireland is never far from the headlines, the reality can be hard to get your head around. For Conor Finn, he encountered just how dire the situation was when he found himself in a queue of over 100 people hoping to rent a single room in Dublin. Conor spoke to Dermot and Dave about his experience of trying to find somewhere to stay in the capital.

He's only went and gone full showbiz! Cathal Minogue from the Dermot and Dave team was getting a bit too big for his boots, so the lads decided to really put him to the test and send him off to his first ever red carpet event. Cathal went to chat to the stars of the 'House Of The Dragon', the new Game Of Thrones Prequel. They also decided to send Cathal off on a little mission that involved singing to the Queen. She's an All-Ireland winner, an All-Star winner and one of the top pundits on The Sunday Game, but Ursula Jacob has spent the last few months having to defend herself against online abuse. The reason? Her Wexford accent. The Sunday Game pundit spoke out recently in a viral social media post where she called out social media accounts who had been targeting. Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Ursula revealed why she decided to speak out, and the reaction she has seen since. Ursula is taking part in the Hurling for Cancer Research charity match, taking place in St Conleth's Park on August 16th.
