I had the honor to speak with the legendary Steve Perry from Journey this morning about his brand new music. After almost 15 years and a loss of his love of music, he is back with a bran new song and album. So I find out where he's been and why he went away. He also gives us some insight and backstory to some of the images on the cover of his new album Traces.

For years when I google the name Nick Steele (my name) another persons life pops up. Actor and model Nick Steele has been stealing my thunder all these years and when we talked about it on the air Kristen decided to do something about it. She reached out to him on Twitter to see if he would chat with us and he said yes! So here is Nick talking to Nick and the similarities between all 3 of us is pretty bizarre. Kristen found out SHE has something in common with him too! 

One half of Hall & Oates, John Oates is coming into town with Daryl Hall & Train in August and we just had to get him on the phone to talk about it. 

Both of us are huge fans of bestselling author James Patterson so it was really awesome to get to talk to him. He has a brand new book out that he co-wrote with former President Bill Clinton called "The President Is Missing"

In preparation for tomorrows San Francisco Comic-Con we take a trip down memory lane to the time we went to Metropolis for Superman Con. 5 years ago today we spent the weekend in Illinois at the Superman convention and Kristen was not a fan. Hear the story! 

From "In Living Color" to numerous movies over the years Tommy Davidson has done one thing consistently. Made me laugh! He is in town at Tommy T's Comedy Club in Pleasanton doing his stand up show and he dropped by to talk with us about the Warriors, a charity close to his heart called Sarcoma-Oma and about his travel show Vacation Creation that has him traveling almost the entire year. 

John Moynier is the head winemaker at Purple Heart Wines and he stopped in to talk to us about the wine and how it benefits the Purple Heart Foundation. John was on the verge of retirement of his 40 year career in wine when he was approached about Purple Heart Wine. As an Air Force Veteran he thought this would be something he could really love being a part of so he jumped on board.  The Purple Heart Foundation is a 60 year old organization dedicated to serving unmet needs of military men, women and families. To date, Purple Heart Wines has donated $60,000 to the foundation. 

We are huge fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Deadpool and Terry Crews is in BOTH of them. Terry called us today to talk about his upcoming movie Deadpool 2, the saving of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and his involvement in the #MeToo movement.
