RJ Gaines from Giddings, Texas - the Lonestar State - is the MVP of this episode, followed by Mork & Mindy, with all the ways the latter is deeply intertwined with this particular episode.

TWD Universe continues it's season of spin-offs with the long-awaited The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which has already pleasantly surprised skeptics and is already heartily filling the vacuum that was left behind since the flagship series had its finale almost a year ago. We can already tell that Daryl Dixon's journey through France will be one to watch.

Who is the good/bad guy? Far from being friends, Maggie Rhee & Negan bind their fates - by way of mutually assured destruction - in order to rescue Hershel Rhee from the clutches of The Croat, whilst Marshall Pearlie Armstrong of The New Babylon Federation wreak Tranquilitas Ordinis along the way.

What this episode does well is gather all of the narrative breadcrumbs that were dropped in previous episodes and, along with the repeating theme of parents losing children losing parents, brings them all full circle to an unexpectedly powerful crescendo. Morgan Jones, we're not losing you: we're taking you with us, no matter how far you sojourn. You can hide, but you can't run.

This episode takes a scenic route to get to what was ultimately a heart-rendering, beautifully-filmed episode. Grace Mukherjee/Karen David will be missed, Baby Mo/Zoey Merchant is killing it, and the show may reveal how many layers of Morgan Jones we can peel back before he starts seeing red.

This episode is supremely satisfying in ways we couldn't expect. Fear The Walking Dead raises The Walking Dead in order to construct one of Season 8's best episodes, thus far, by taking Morgan Jones' family back to where The Walking Dead UNIVERSE (and his own personal tragedy) started.

PADRE is a LIE! …or is it? The show not only finally reunites Daniel Salazar with both June Dorie & Madison Clark, but takes a peek behind Oz's curtain on PADRE's nouveau raison d'être - and I get the feeling some of you might think the means might justify the ends.

We've gone through the one-way mirror and peered through the other side of where #JuneDorie is, right now, and - not gonna lie - it's dark in here. #FearTheWalkingDead is taking a potential gamble with some subplots revealed in this episode and we are eager to see how this is going to play out.

The Drab 4 reunite, under duress, to discuss #FearTheWalkingDead's #SeasonPremiere of it's 8th and final season. It is definitely not roses in SDHQ, as hosts are split about how enjoyable this episode of #FTWD actually was. With so much pressure for #IanGoldberg & #AndrewChambliss to stick the landing, is it any wonder why tensions are riding high?
