It’s the season of Thanksgiving!

Faith…we hear the word a lot. We read in Romans 1:7 that the righteous will live by faith but what does that mean? Relationships are hard! It's safe to say that all of us have been hurt at some time by someone else. 

We all have heard of the golden rule…do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It seems simple enough but this is a struggle for us in our relationships. Jesus came and took loving our neighbors to a new level by dying on the cross. When we didn’t deserve it, he died for us. As Christians, we are all a work in progress. Paul tells us in Philippians that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. In Daniel chapter 4, we see King Nebuchadnezzar learn a hard lesson on pride and humility. The Bible tells us that God opposes the proud but He gives grace to the humble. Today we continue in Daniel Chapter 3 and the fiery furnace. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stand firm with a bold faith against King Nebuchadnezzar and now they are in the fiery furnace.

The bible tells us that the devil roams around looking for those He can take out. How do we resist him? By not bowing down and standing firm on the truth that is Jesus!
