Rachel is an analytical chemist by training with experience in chromatography and mass spectrometry. She leads extraction and formulation team. She has served as Symposium Chair for the Minnesota Chromatography Forum for the past six years. She earned her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry in the laboratory of Dr. Natalia Tretyakova at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and is well versed in the following techniques: HPLC, LC/MS/M, GC, GC/MS and ICP/MS.

Today on Mission Supercritical our host Andy Joseph is joined by Paul Muchowski Dr. Paul received a PhD in Biological Structure from the University of Washington and performed post-doctoral training at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry. Dr. Muchowski worked as a professor in the medical schools at the University of Washington and the University of California San Francisco, and subsequently in drug development in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Dr. Muchowski's research focuses on the molecular basis of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease. He has published >60 highly cited research papers. His lab also published research on the role of the endocannabinoid system in neurodegeneration, showing that it is a critical determinant of the onset and severity of disease in animal models of chronic neurodegeneration.

Today on Mission Supercritical we are joined by Steven P. Bennett a Cannabinoid Scientist. Bennett is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Prescott Logic Technologies Ltd. His scientific career has focused on the molecular biology of disease, namely Alzheimer's disease (AD), melanoma, and opiate receptors. Steven considers himself a "bench to clinic" researcher as he is involved in numerous aspects of the investigation. Also, his work has led to 2 patents, 4 provisional patent submissions, and several publications over the past decade. Bennett is currently a Visiting Scientist with CU-Anschutz Medical Campus in the Department of Neurology with ongoing experiments in the field of Alzheimer's disease.

He is also a founding board member of the National Association of Cannabis Businesses. While on active duty with the Air Force, he served on the National Security Council at the White House during the Clinton Administration and later, with the American Embassy in Tel Aviv. He's a co-author of five books which challenge "thinking deeply about" prevailing paradigms of leadership, diversity, and humans.
