On April 29, 2018, a group of activist, led by Naomi Simmons-Thorne, gathered for a vigil to honor the life of Sasha Wall. Sasha was the eighth transgender person to be murdered this year in the United States. She was the 1st trans woman, that we know of, to be murdered here in South Carolina.
