Oops We Watched It Again

While 5 pregnant Bettys and one Richard Nixon walking into the bank branch of a supermarket might sound like the setup to an off color joke, it’s actually the set up to our movie for this episode: Sugar and Spice! We also, for no real reason, start the show by debating which 90's stars have BDE and which do not. If you don't know what BDE is... maybe it's for the best. Hulk Hogan has been the biggest face of wrestling for a hot minute, but his character is beginning to get stale with fans. So what does Hulky do? Turns into a big bad boogeyman (aka, a heel). Today’s movie of choice was chosen in honor of its 20th anniversary! June 12th 1998 was a time of furbys, boomboxes, and the teen classic, Can’t Hardly Wait! We breakdown the dozens of cameos, our favorite side stories, just how stoned Ethan Embry was during the filming, and why we can't get enough of the man-ilow. For our 10th minisode we will cover the feuds of the pound-for-pound top fighter in pop singer history, miss Mizzundastood herself, Pink!! She has one big big feud in her herstory and a few others that are just kind fun, but we’re gonna cover all of em today - the facts, the rumors and some of our favorite pop star trivia.

For our 18th episode we’re just getting straight stupid with the movie of choice. To do this, we gotta return to the year 2000, a time when "sweet" & "dude" (but definitely not "shibby") became the extent of high school lingo in large part because of the dumbest movie ever: "Dude, Where’s My Car?"

For our 8th minisode we are going back in time and re-writing history! We go back through the Grammy winners of the 90s and decide if the award for record of the year should have gone to a different anthem. Lots of poor singing in this ep, folks. We couldn't help ourselves but, honestly, who doesn't love a good rendition of Gin & Juice?

For our 17th episode we are going back the year 2004, a time when Outkast was topping the charts, when little minds were being warped by Grand Theft Auto, and when a hit teen movie took a turn for the evangelical. For our 7th minisode we are talking about a significant part of any 90s childhood, and that is the video game industry! We list the top ten video games for the classic Nintendo Entertainment System, the Super Nintendo, the Nintendo 64, the Gameboy, Genesis, and of course the PS1. For our fourth minisode we are talking about the ultimate rollercoaster of stuffed animals & the mass hysteria that swept the nation in what is now known as the Beanie Baby boom & bust!
