The Lightning play a more inspired game and beat the Bruins 4-2 to even their series at a game a piece as Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson bounce back with a big game. The Lightning lost Game 1 to the Bruins 6-2 and look to rebound in Game 2 tonight before going to Boston, the Bucs have a very successful NFL Draft filling a lot of positions of need for the team and the Rays 8-game losing streak comes to an end but the bats have certainly come to life for the team.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The Bucs trade back in the NFL Draft and still get their man, 347-pound DT Vita Vea from Washington. Vea was 4th on the Bucs board and they are really happy with the pick. Carlos Gomez, who has been struggling, delivers a 2-run walk-off homerun for the Rays as they sweep the Twins for the first time at Tropicana Field. It was quite the celebration and homerun trot as it was his first career walk-off hit. The NFL did the Buccaneers no favors with their opening 3 games of the 2018 schedule at New Orleans and home against Philadelphia and Pittsburgh making an 0-3 start possible, plus linebacker Kendall Beckwith broke his ankle and had surgery so his status for the start of the season is in question. We have missed the NHL Playoffs in Tampa Bay and the Lightning didn't disappoint in Game 1 as they defeated the New Jersey Devils 5-2 in their first playoff game in nearly 2 years.
