After a week hiatus, we're back talking about a listener's rap tribute to Dave and answering listener questions. Among the topics: the best way to put on chapstick, which host would survive longest in the Hunger Games, exposed nipples in golf shirts, and high school/college pranks. With Election Day upon us, we knew that we'd be doing the country a disservice by not covering it on Touching Base. From how annoying Instagrams of "I Voted" stickers are to sippin' sizzurp with Paul Wall, we covered all the bases. We also discussed Dave matchmaking for Micah via Snapchat and how Dillon looks exactly like Christopher Reeve's son.

In an attempt to get our swagger back, we went back to basics – "Real or Fake?" Vice Headlines, the most talked about segment in the history of segments "This Weekend In Fun," Dillon's Thug Plug Of The Week, and a slew of listener questions ranging from the best steak we've ever eaten to how much weight it's acceptable to put on during the winter. On the heels of talking to Smylie Kaufman about Spring Break 2016, we interviewed the guys who made the theme song for the trip, Wes Walker and Dyl, who just debuted their new song, "Haters." Their music, touring colleges, haters, rap beefs, and doing cocaine off girl's butts in frat houses summarize some of our talking points until Dave clarified with them that Wes wasn't, in fact, the former New England Patriots wide receiver.

Our hopes were dashed when we thought we were going to have our second blockbuster guest of the week, but unfortunately, things went south and our interview with Killshot (aka Intern Denis) was foiled. It wasn't all bad, though – we went through some listener questions, pulled back the curtain a bit, and went on a tangent about giving money to homeless people. As derailed as we were, the traditional Friday Hangover Podcast had to move on. Oh, and we also ran through Vice headlines because of course.

PGA Tour Professional Smylie Kaufman finally joins us after months of going back and forth. After Dave got in a political argument with the groom at a wedding this past weekend and Dillon had a run-in with a drunk guy talking trash after the University of Texas football game, we knew it was time to touch base and rehash the weekend that was.
