    There are times when life gets busy, busy, busy and you feel completely overwhelmed and you want to hide under the covers and hibernate.  Usually that is not an option.  How do you navigate this energy?   The last couple of weeks have been hectic.  Lots of situations occurred where people tried to start a fight with me and I got a choice to either fight back or find some calm and deal with the situation.    I chose calm and deal.  I will share with you my tips for doing this.    I completely impressed my best friend, because I do fight back when someone is being a jerk to me, but I consciously and awaringly chose not to.  Why? Because I am well aware of my power and the energy I bring to situations.

    Expectations.  We all have them, but do we have some unrealistic expectations. Or are they in line with our experiences and how we view and engage in our world?    We have all heard the saying: keep your expectations low so that you will not be disappointed.  Is that a good way to live your life?   Don't expectations let us know about ourselves and what we believe?  Taking a look at our expectations and beleif systems give us valuable insight.   

  • Saying No. Having Boundaries and sticking to them.

    How often do you say yes when you really want to say no, but you do not want to disappoint the person making the request?  Saying yes when no is really in your best interest will cause burnout and resentment.   No is not negative.  No is honouring yourself.    For seven years I have been a consistent volunteer for our community, and now I am saying no.   Why? because I am tired of the behind the scenes politics.   Some people are addicted to drama and complaining and I am choosing to not engage.  My summer was so wonderful that I wish to keep that energy going.  To do so I am saying no to volunteer positions, projects and people.   I will keep you posted on the progress.

What do we beleive?  Is it kind?  Why do we believe this way?   All of this is happening to icrease our self awareness and awareness of our world.  It is a personal journey of discovery.  Sometimes we are graceful about it, other times we are not.

    Chakras are energy centers in your body.  These energy centers radiate and receive energy constantly.   Understanding the chakras will give you valuable insight into yourself.  Are you feeling a rollercoaster of emotions lately?  Do you wish you could slow the energies down so you can understand and process better?  Feeling overwhelmed, hectic and unbalanced is common.  Understanding your chakras and being able to use the energy will help you immensly.  If you are feeling anxious and insecure these are root chakra energies.  The colour is red.  Carrying a red jasper will help balance this energy center.   We can misinterpret an unbalance as intuitive feelings.   This is why understanding the chakras is important to understanding your intuition.

    The last month I have noticed my intuitive hits are more noticeable and almost instantly validated.  I realized that when this happens we can right this off as coincidence when we are struggling to trust our intutiion.    I wish to urge you to do the opposite.  Say WOW!  I KNEW THAT! HOW COOL!  GO ME!  Intuition can be uncomfortable.  We Know things and sometimes we wish that we did not and other times we are thankful.  Lets talk about working through understanding our intuition and how to embrace the messages as information at times and not requiring a reaction or action.  Other times it is information to give us a heads up.   Intuition is our ally but our ego can mess up our responses to the messages until we understand ourselves better.  Intuition or Instincts are the way the Universe communicates with us.   Let's get in alignemnt with that energy and create our dream life.

    Who are you?  Who woulod you like to be?  Do you have goals?  Do you like your life?  Are you happy?  These are the questions our ego minds ask and our soul answers.  Following our Soul Path is not a straight line, nor is it pretty, but it is pretty amazing.  Our Soul encourages growth, buiding our confidence, and for us to experience everything we want to experience.  We have Soul Contracts, Soul Mates, Soul Lessons, Soul level experiences.  BUT.....do we follow our soul path or do we follow a path that is expected even if we feel it may be causing us torment in our soul.  

  • Tips to defuse an Energy Overload

    Energy overload can put us in an energy crisis.  Ever look at your to do list and it feels so overwhelming that you do not know where to start and you want to go watch TV instead?  Or go chat with a coworker? Anything to avoid starting because it all feels like too much.  How about an energy hang over?  When you had such an energy exhilirating experience that the next day you feel depleted and a little sad.   I practice rolling with my energy I am experiencing at any given time or changing my energy. Have you ever been working on a project and it got all tangled and frustrating?   You walked away and when you got back to it, it was a whole lot smoother.  That is an example of rolling with the energy.    If you had stayed at the project you may have got done what you wanted but it took longer.  Walking away is an energy reset.  When you got back to the project the energy was better.  Self care and awareness of when you need to give yourself some TLC is essential.
