A.d.d. Comedy With Dave Razowsky

Melanie Chartoff. Melanie was the voice of Didi and Minka on “Rugrats,” was a series regular on “Fridays,” “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,” “Newhart,” and “Weird Science.” Melanie was also “Seinfeld,” “Married with Children,” and “Wiseguy.” Melanie teaches improv and acting in Los Angeles. Jennifer Winters. Jennifer has been on “Squad 85,” was a regular on “Big News,” and a member of The Second City’s Norwegian Cruise Line cast. Jennifer's a sought-after Bikram yoga instructor, a massage therapist, and is credited by Dave Razowsky as being the person who is most responsible for his journey of mindfulness and awareness.

Frank Caeti. Frank is a Second City alum who was a cast member and writer on “MADtv." Frank also been on “Key and Peele,” “The Jay Leno Show,” ““The Craft Store,” and “Reno 911.” Frank performs in FrankenMatt an improv/sketch show with Second City alum (and former ADD guest) Matt Craig.

Brian O’Connell has been in “The Girls Room,” “Red Dirt Rising,” and the Internet series, “Mr. Wrong” and “Model Ball.” He wrote and directed “Killer View,” the first feature film to be shot exclusively on a disposable video camera. Brian teaches improv at iO West, and is core faculty at The Miles Stroth Workshops.

Judy Fabjance. Judy is a former student of Dave’s, and has been performing with (and is a founding member of) GayCo Productions, a not-for-profit theatre ensemble that creates sketch-comedy revues based on gay/lesbian themes. Judy's studied at Second City, The Annoyance Theater, and Columbia College. Judy wrote and performed at Second City’s Skybox theater “Are You There, Judy? It’s Me Cancer,” and is currently performing her second show “Tales of Stage 4 Cancer,” about her undergoing treatment for stage 4 breast cancer.

Jonathan Pitts. Jonathan is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the prestigious Chicago Improv Festival. He teaches at The Second City in Chicago, and has performed and taught in Norway, England and Canada. Jonathan is a contributing writer to the best seller "An Improv Almanac."

Michael McCarthy. Michael is a Second City alum who has written for "Saturday Night Live," "The Drew Carey Show," "Mike and Molly," "Whose Line is it Anyway," and "Sesame Street." Michael created "The Cat Laughs," Ireland's first comedy festival. He is married to Susan Messing who makes a cameo in this podcast interview.

Jenna Jolovitz. Jenna is a Second City alum. She wrote on over 25 episodes of MadTv, was an executive story editor on “Greetings from Tucson,” appeared in “Second City’s 149 1/2 Edition” with Dave and Steve Carell. Jenna was a guest writer on Saturday Night Live, and teaches at Second City Hollywood.

Matt Craig. Matt an alum of The Second City and has appeared on “Key and Peele,” “The Office,” and “According to Jim.” He an Emmy-nominated writer who’s written for "Saturday Night Live,” and is currently writing for WB’s “Wabbit.” Matt is also part of the improv duo “Frankenmatt” with Frank Caeti.

Jim Staahl. Jim is an Emmy-winning writer, a performer, and actor. Jim’s a Second City alum who has written for Steve Martin, Sid Caesar, and Steve Allen. Jim's appeared on "Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Normal Life,” and was a regular on “Mork and Mindy.” Jim’s Second City cast included Harold Ramis and John Belushi, and Jim was a friend and colleague of the late Robin Williams. Bobbie Oliver. Bobbie is a stand up who has appeared on TNN, at The Riviera in Las Vegas, The Ice House, The Improv, The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, The Comedy Store. Bobbie founded Standup Academy and in 2013 she opened Tao Comedy Studio where she teaches her Tao Of Comedy workshops. She’s the author of the The Tao of Comedy, which Maria Bamford said “is the equivalent of a great headliner spending the week with you…cheering you on."

Patrick Bristow. Patrick has been in “Austin Powers,” “So I Married an Axe Murderer,” “The Transformers,” “Showgirls,” and “The Longest Yard.” On television, Patrick has appeared in “Ellen,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “King of the Hill,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” and “The Family Guy.” Patrick’s an alum of “The Groundlings,” and has toured worldwide with “Stuffed and Unstrung” for the Jim Henson Company.

Julie Brister. Julie has been on “Parks and Recreation,” “The New Normal,” “Conan,” “Reno 911,” “Little Britain USA,” and “Onion News Network.” She’s a teacher at UCB in LA, and has directed dozens of shows throughout the US.

Paul Stein. Paul is the Executive Producer at the Comedy Central Stage, a development performance venue for the television network in Hollywood. In his close to twenty years of professional experience, Paul was a Venue Producer for over ten years at HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and Venue Supervisor at all five TCF: Comedy Festivals in Las Vegas produced by HBO and TBS. Paul directed comedian W. Kamau Bell’s Ending Racism in About an Hour at P.S. 122 in New York and various theater across the country, and is the Artistic Director of The Solo Collective.

Paul Willson. Paul was Leonard Smith on “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show,” has appeared in numerous episodes of “The Larry Sanders Show”, “George & Leo,” and “Malcolm in the Middle.” He is best known for his character Paul Krapence on “Cheers." Paul’s a well-respected improv player, and a member of the improv troupe “Off the Wall,” the resident company at Hollywood’s “The Improv” for 14 years.

Dawn Westlake. Dawn is president of Ron de Caña Prods. in Los Angeles, a film production company she founded in 1998. As a director/writer/producer/actress, she's made 16 short films since 2000 in the US, Portugal, Spain and France that have played on all 7 continents and won 44 awards, including honors from JVC-Tokyo and Canon USA, Inc. Dawn has also judged film festivals in Italy, France and Chicago. In 2013, Dawn directed the TV series "Look Who's Stalking" for NBCUniversal in Los Angeles. It aired on the BIO Network in the spring of 2013. Originally from Chicagoland, she wrote sketches and designed games for three seasons of WGN-TV's "The Bozo Show", starring Joey D'Auria. She also studied at the Players Workshop of the Second City and at the Second City Training Center.

Dr. John Mayer. Dr. Mayer is the chair of the theater department at California State University in Stanislaus, CA. He is a former student of Paul Sills, Sheldon Patinkin, Alan Arkin and Del Close, and studied acting at Steppenwolf Theatre company with John Malkovich. Dr. Mayer is a coordinator for the California Summer Arts Festival, and recruited hundreds of actors and artists to study with Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Style Comedy, Second City, and sketch comedy writing. Ed Lee. Ed has written for "Norm," "Are You There, Chelsea?," "Muppets Tonight," and "The Drew Carey Show." Ed teaches writing at iO, and recorded this "ADD Comedy with Dave Razowsky and Ian Foley" podcast from the prestigious California Summer Arts Festival in Monterey Bay, CA.

Joey D’Auria has been on “How I Met Your Mother,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” “Late Night with David Letterman, and voice-over work on numerous animated series. Joey is best known, though, for his 20 year run as Bozo on WGN’s “The Bozo Show.”

Michael Shepperd. Michael has been on Criminal Minds, Frasier, Monk, Ally McBeal, Arrested Development, ER, and Strong Medicine, plus numerous independent and short films. Michael is co-Artistic Director of The Celebration Theater, he's had four Joseph Jefferson nominations, and was named one of LA’s Most Fascinating People for LA Weekly’s People 2014 issue.
