Join us as we talk to “Hurricane Hunter” pilot Captain Will Simmons of the US Air Force 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron. Captain Simmons graduated from the Geosciences Department at Mississippi State University and subsequently worked for two years as an AMS-certified meteorologist at WCBI-TV in Columbus, MS. After earning his pilot wings in the US Air Force, Captain Simmons began flying for the Hurricane Hunters out of Keesler Air Force Base in 2015.
