The longer you walk with the Lord, the more you will see this world has nothing eternal to offer. So now is the time to give up control. Now is the time to grasp the love of Jesus and move toward the fullness of God. But God, who raises the dead, is able to do all of these things and even more—so you must desperately pray and die to yourself.

God’s eternal purpose was fulfilled in the person and work of Jesus and forevermore God’s glory will be on display in all the world through the church. Because of the gospel, we’ve been let into the mystery of His glory and we don’t have to tip toe in. We can run with boldness, confidence, and full on access to the Glory of God knowing that we will never be rejected by Him because of the cross and because Jesus is our high priest.

Brothers and sisters in Christ—you are a part of something much bigger than yourself. And there is something that happens when the people of God gather together that cannot happen by yourself. God’s desire is that we would be joined together and that would be built together into a dwelling place for God. And this is not a one time occurrence. It is a continually process of “being built” as we find in Ephesians 2.
