Urkposhta, the National Postal Service of Ukraine, has released a special edition stamp that commemorates the defence against Russia of a Ukrainian island in the Black Sea. The stamp has been celebrated for its iconic design featuring a soldier flipping the bird to the invaders. Derry Girls the 90's based hit Channel 4 comedy is coming to an end after 3 series tomorrow night. But what is the legacy of Derry Girls on Derry City? Henry McKean met real Derry Girls, actors and Derry Tourism. Filming brought in 8 million to the local economy with murals and merch selling like hotcakes.

Whale and dolphin stranding's are not uncommon in Ireland, but the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group has identified a new species never before seen on our shores. A Co Antrim couple who welcomed beautiful conjoined twins into their lives in March have said they are a “miracle”. Hannah and Dan Bateson, from Toomebridge welcomed the twin girls at London’s University College Hospital. In what could be a story from Treasure Island, an archivist in a Galway book store made a startling discovery when she found two Mexican gold coins hidden away in a priest’s book.
