After many years (generations, if you will), Start Trek finally gets to the first Next Gen movie, Star Trek: Generations! We're also covering the TNG episodes Datalore and Brothers.

START TREK slows things down to cover a set of BORG ARCH episodes.

Start Trek is back, as we introduce Peter to The Next Generation with the pilot, a few classic episodes, and a story arc to prep him for the first movie. We're covering Encounter at Farpoint, Measure of a Man, Yesterday's Enterprise, Darmok, and the Klingon Civil War arc.

Don't You Dare! is a sidecast that Aaron and I do when we feel like it, and this one is on the Adult Swim show FRISKY DINGO.

Holy Pizza, it's our 300th episode! And we're taking it back to beginning by covering a real NY slice of pizza, with MYSTIC PIZZA. The movie has a lot non-pizza related stuff too, but we try to focus on the important things, like a real slice of pizza pie-ah.

This month is another grab bag month of off-format episodes, including a DON'T YOU DARE on the Ratchet & Clank reboot of 2016, which somewhat aligned with the terrible movie. We don't talk about the movie much.

Our Albert Brooks months rolls on with his sweetest movie, Defending Your Life. If anyone should be judged guilty, it should be Rip Torn, who steals every scene he's in! Since We Love to Watch only uses 3% of our brains (combined), we are very worried about heading to Judgement City, and having to justify clips of our Jay Leno and Mr. Ed impressions.

ALBERT BROOKS month begins with his darkest movie, MODERN ROMANCE, an anti-romcom about a miserable shit and the misery he shits all over his partner. it's great!

Our Big Game month closes on a lighthearted note as we discuss Michael Haneke's 2007 shot-for-shot Funny Games remake. We laugh; we cry; we try desperately to turn off Nascar so we can be alone with our grief. Also, even though we say next week's episode will be Albert Brooks' Real Life, we funny gamed you; it's actually Albert Brooks' Modern Romance. Boom! You got Funny Gamed!

Our Big Game month asks where your loyalties lie, as we cover 1992's Patriot Games. Do they lie with a right-wing lunatic Tom Clancy, or with Harrison Ford's Jack Ryan, who thinks maybe you shouldn't kill everyone indiscriminately just because they are in a different country. We find out when Ford takes time away from his busy schedule of crashing planes, and focuses on blowing up boats.

THE BIG GAME month kicks off with Ernest B. Schoedsack and Irving Pichel's fantastic THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME. THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME was a runaway hit story by Richard Connell, and interest in the story has carried on for nearly a century later. But back in the 1930s, two directors used the leftover KING KONG sets (Schoedsack co-directed Kong) to make a daring adaptation with splashes of intense violence and social commentary.

Our When the Small, Gets Big Month concludes when with Fight the Future, with 1998's X-Files movie. We spend a lot of this episode discussing the X-files in general, and the colonization arch, so if you have somehow remained unspoiled, please watch 200ish hours of great-to-middling television before catching up on this ep.
