We Love To Watch

Don't You Dare returns! The We Love to watch spinoff podcast where hosts Aaron and Peter "dare" each other into experiencing art that the other one hasn't. This episode, Aaron dares Peter to listen to Third Eye Blind's eponymous 1997 debut. It was a huge album for 14 year-old Aaron, and it's a 90s novelty band for Peter. How's it gonna be when it goes down? (i.e. they listen and discuss it).

On second week of Fancy High School Month, we blow the lid off the movie She's All That! It's a move that most people don't think of as having been written by M. Night Shymalan....well, in this very specific instance, "most people" are idiots! It was! And we can prove it! By describing his tweets claiming he wrote it! We also discuss Not Another Teen Movie because how can you not?

Our new month, FANCY HIGH SCHOOL launches with Amy Heckerling's CLUELESS, a satire of high school vapidity - or a sweet portrait of high school life among the rich and privileged?

We wrap up Did We Doc, Up? Month with a laugh-a-minute, thrill ride, going from one slide, to another, to ANOTHER, with An Inconvenient Truth! We're joined by the Koski Brothers (one part Adam, one part Dustin), for half the episode due to a recording issue, but that's fine, because who wants to talk about the end of the world for this long?

"Did We Doc Up?" month continues with an appearance by THE PRODUCER (Carrie N.) as we discuss two early 2000s activist docs from back when everyone liked Michael Moore. How did they age? How much did our complicated feelings on Moore contribute to those reactions? Does the film still have value today? All that and MOORE in our Moorefest episode. In our second week of Did We Doc Up?, I can assure you that yes, we doc'd up. Because we'e covering Bill Maher's Religulous.... We get a chance to talk about our shame in being Bill Maher fans at one point in our lives, the way 2000-era comedians "hurt" conservatives on the back of marginalized people, the show Real Time, and how much this move and Bill Maher fucking sucks. So join us, as Peter and Aaron exorcise a lot of demons in an episode that's more for us than you (but hopefully you find it mildly interesting).

For our DID WE DOC UP? month we decided to re-release JESUS CAMP from our Summer Camp series a few years ago.
