Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This time we all lose. It was a Formula 1 weekend that lacked in so many ways, but it did give us loads to talk about, and while Roger fears Formula 1 is broken, all is not lost. We have some solutions. Hear what the boys thought about the race weekend, how to fix qualifying, the grid penalty debacle and team orders. Roger and Tristan make their predictions for the Formula B championship and look at the development race between Renault and Toro Rosso. SINGAPORE IS DONE AND DUSTED! The lights went out and boy did we, ummm, see, ahhhh....yeah some really great, ahhh cars, that ahh did some real fast laps, and ahh oh yeah they changed tyres a couple of times, oh and did you know they gave out 3 trophies, madness!! They sure know how to throw a GP......did I leave the dishwasher on? Yes that's right the longest race was the biggest flop of the year, but don't worry we had plenty to talk about. This week we unpack all the talking points of the Singapore GP, take a deeper look at the driver swaps, try and figure out what was eating Perez, for the first time mention Sirotkin and his fighting drive, try to re home Ocon and discuss if Ferrari are no longer the "IT" team of Formula 1? It's podcast time! And the boys are fired up just like the Scuderia, as we deliver our most passionate podcast of the year. You won't be disappointed! This week we discuss the race that WAS. The summer break is over, and so was the race for many! Yes we are back and if the summer break wasn't hectic enough for you then don't worry turn 1 has you covered! Hulk went smash, Alonso went crash, LeClerc gave the Sauber a new brown paint job and the rest of the midfield realised they should have taken an extra day to sober up from their holiday bevs as the revs went up a notch and we collided into the 2nd half of 2018. This week we look at the carnage from spa, dive in-depth into the Force India rise and fall and rise again, race review, fantasy GP, fan questions and much much much more. We're back online, F1 is back on track, the podcast is back on the air and you're back in the audience. But the F1 world isn't feeling our love. Alonso has left McLaren, Dan has left Redbull, Gasly has left Torro Rosso and all efforts to predict the driver market are out the window. This week we jump aboard the merry-go-round and share thoughts on who is going where, we touch on news, finish part 2 of our mid season review, answer fan questions, make a prediction for Spa and continue to do what we do best, find out the dictionary meaning of a back flip agree, disagree, agree again, disagree about our agreement and wrap up all of the madness that has been one of the most hectic F1 breaks ever! Welcome back fans we missed you!

We are half way through the mid-season break and Wattsy has cabin fever. So we thought it was best we celebrate his birthday with a few beers and some Formula 1 talk from our favourite man cave, 'The Shed'. The Boys reflect on a weeks worth on mental processing on the big announcement from Our Man Dan and we have a chat about the Force India take over.  The episode is finished with part 1 of the mid-season review and plenty of banter throughout. 

No one really saw this coming, or did they? Wattsy and Roger get together to discuss the move of the season and a move which may well define Our Man Dan's career? 

Break time! No it's not the Tuesday afternoon tea and bikkies break while you throw banter at your workmates around the watercooler. It's the summer break. So while we freeze in the rain and -1° temps in the land downunder we left the weekend feeling hot. Dan was hot, Lewis was hot (in the wet) Max's engine got too hot, then his temper got to hot, Bottas's tyres got too hot, Sebs pressure to perform got hot and all the while Kimi in his natural Ice Man ways was the only man who kept his cool. This week we discuss the weekend gone, we talk Renault and Redbull, the Force India buy out and plan our 4 weeks off...all that and much much more as we say cheers to the first half of season 2018.

LOVE CONQUERS ALL! Well no one told us that! Geez, maybe we should start hugging it out to end every episode. Yes the boys are back for another week. Just like the German GP we were flying this week and then the coffee left our system and for no apparent reason we lost it, we called Seb for advice but he was Grazzi Riggazzi (that's German for missing in action.....we think) This week we take a review of the most unusual race of the year. Roger does his very best to now unconvince himself that Kimi is leaving, Justin left the cooker off and conveniently "forgot" to bring the heat on Hulkenberg and Tristan shares his love of reading and what clearly seems to be wayyyy too much free time and limited social life as he unpacks some of the FIA F1 regulations for those not in the know. The boys are in the shed again, and have to endure an Aussie winter rain shower, but all is good because Wattsy is back from his early mid season break.  With contracts being signed all around us, the boys take a close look at who they expect to be steering the Formula 1 Cars in season 2019. Wattsy worryingly states his support for Hartley and Sirotkin, while wanting to turn the heat on the Tristan's man, 'The Hulk'.  The boys also have a chat about the up coming German Grand Prix and give their race predictions. 

What a weekend it was. We are back this week as we run an ice bath over the British GP. Just like Hartley on Sunday, Justin couldn't make it out so he will join his man in the New Zealand paddocks herding sheep and enjoying an nice serving of fush and chups. Pressure, pressure and more pressure. This week posed more questions than answers, but that didn't stop us having an opinion. Everywhere you look someone is under the pump. We take a look at the weekend that was, and seriously question the media for the first time. We attempt to break up the school yard fight between Ferrari and Mercedes and get our glasses out to find where the 80 horsepower in the Redbull has gone? Roger gives his insight into the need for a full time steward, we talk about what lies ahead for Grosjean, take a peek and who's still in with a fighting chance for the title, and kiss goodbye the triple header. Just like last nights race we lost a driver, yes J is a DNF this week as he treks off on assignment to eat Fush and Cups, chase sheep and search for the birthplace of Brendan Hartley. SPOILER ALERT, he hasn't found it! But hey who knows, the fush and chups might be worth it! This week we take a full race review of one of the strangest races of the year. Roger takes the blow torch off Max and begins to burn a hole into Kimi, but will he melt the Iceman that easily? We also discuss what went wrong with the Merc upgrade, what went wrong with Dan, what went wrong with Hulkenberg, what went wrong with the strategy at Merc and what the hell is wrong with the way Williams people dress? MINI PODCAST! Like that first shot of tequila on a Saturday night we have been smacked in the face with the news that Redbull will sign Honda for 2019 and 2020. However we have sobered up and found the strength to discuss the deal of the year. Get the boys thoughts and initial reactions as we all watch this space like the next taxi pulling into the rank!  

It's go time and this week we take time out of the F1 break to bring you just what we all need....F1! It's LeMans week and Alonso has won! Don't worry though we have all your sticky and delicious Fernando goodness covered, and by we, we mean Tristan and by covered we mean the boys do their very best to limit his air time so that we don't have to endure another love fest this week. We know, we know, we hope he retires too, Tristan that is. In between that we talk all things Mclaren, is there any hope for the Papya power house or are they on the Williams path to nowhere, we look at what the new regulations will mean for the upcoming year, spread a few driver rumors, preview the French GP and Google what an SF19 car is...don't worry we didn't know either. So strap yourself in as we gear up for the back to back to back triple crown of our very own!

It's the Canadian race review and can you believe that in a race with 0 action, 1 crash, everyone finishing where they started and a chequered flag that halted the race early, we still managed to find an hr of things to talk about! NEITHER CAN WE!   This week we ask what the @#$%$ing hell is wrong with Williams? Is Kimi doing enough? Did Hamilton do enough? Are Liberty on the right path? Are Pirelli to blame for the lack of overtaking? Why does Justin still pay for Fantasy GP? Does Tristan actually know what that word is for when you go away and do stuff? And should Roger have every Monday off to be more organised in this podcast?   All that and one very heated debate about Max wanting to headbutt people, this week at Beyond the Racing Line!

Well crikey bonza and throw another shrimp on the barbie the Aussie assassin has his redemption in Monaco. That’s right folks we are back with another tip top you bewt episode and what a day to be an Aussie (although we are Aussies every day). This week we pump up Dan, tell you how great Dan is, mention all the great stuff about Dan, give Dan all the points in the Driver rankings, J proposes to Dan and in amongst that some other stuff about other drivers who wer......ah who are we kidding. We love Our Man Dan.  

After a week of McLaren like technical like issues hitting the Beyond the Racing Line headquarters, they boys are back in their usual Monday night time slot. Justin is down with the dreaded and quite fatal man flu, Roger and Tristan are left to discuss the big talking points from Spain, whip around the news stories from the week and preview the ‘Jewel in the F1 Crown’ Monaco.

It's Spanish GP week. This week the boys put their very best Spanish accents to the test as we talk all things F1. We look at news and just like a Williams on a Sunday its slow going, we ride along the driver contract merry-go-round and we pour hot apple sauce all over the Miami track proposal, or as we have affectionately named it "The Porkchop".
