Death to despair, the complete loss or absence of hope

Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails

Jesus calls the church in Laodicea to break free from complacency and lukewarm living.

The church in Sardis had a reputation of being alive, but was actually dead.

The church in Thyatira had allowed Jezebel, a woman who called herself a prophet mislead others into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.

Ephesus was once on fire for the Lord, but had become indifferent. Jesus admonishes them to return to their first love and do the works they did at first.

Look for Jesus in the world, listen to his teachings, learn from his example, live for Jesus in our own lives, and love as Jesus loved.

Isaiah 41:10- Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

When Christ returns there will be a new heaven and a new earth. There will be a new Jerusalem where he will dwell among us.

The Holy Spirit was the empowering force behind Jesus' birth, life, and ministry.

As we live in between the time when heaven came back awaiting the day when heaven comes to stay we must learn to live for heaven now.

We can experience Heaven right here, right now in our lives today.
