Fuzzywig is back to give an update on the nightmarish process that's been holding up the legalization of marijuana in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. It shouldn't come as a surprise that this former traveling hippy turned registered caregiver is anti-President Trump. Then again, we're both from Massachusetts, the state that currently has the 2nd highest disapproval rating towards the current administration. This discussion essentially serves several layers of hypocritical outcry towards our current powers that be, as well as the zombie like cult that is in full devotion to its cause. We make a little time to talk about how he found his cat on tour, along with some minor prose about the Zelda franchise. All in all, this an episode that will trigger the fuck out of your local right wing sjw snowflake who thinks they have a stronger chance of getting raped by immigrant than winning the lottery. Welcome to the very first edition of a man on the street series that I've been wanting to do for years. This is my first attempt at a roaming solo mic interview. King Fowley is an American metal head and singer for the legendary Death Metal band Deceased, as well as the popular Heavy Metal group October 31. He is a pioneer of the 1st wave of American Death Metal who has released 11 full length albums to date. His larger than life persona and energy bursts through brillantly in this episode, so much so there's a bit of a double tracked bleed that is a result of our intimate setting at the bar upstairs in Ralph's Rock Diner. James "Jimmy" Foster is a jack of all trades media mogul and who I consider to be the face of Red 13 Studios, located in Framingham, MA. Together we indulge in a few cocktails and manage to reach an epic level of shittiness that lasts for 2 hours. We discuss several topics, such as the developmental process of his former band Gangsta Bitch Barbie/Nullset getting signed to Capitol Records. His directing and producing of music videos for Abnormality, Whitechapel, Unearth and Goatwhore. Jim tips us off about a feature length documentary film he's producing on Godsmack and recollects seeing the band rise from obscurity over 20 years ago. Though he cut his teeth with Goratory and Compost Pile, his entire professional life has been based in the MetroWest region of Massachusetts. We were so excited to sit down with Muert, that naturally we forgot this was in fact the 2nd foreign band we've featured on DIP (see DIP002 with Tankscapda). Granted this was the first foreign metal band. This episode serves as a great introduction to the mysterious Canary Islands, located a mere 90 miles from the coast of Morocco, yet the people are still subjects to the crown of Spain. Here we learn about the motivations of Muert, a band playing primitive 2nd wave black metal, that is rooted in vengeance towards the Spanish church's Aboriginal genocide of the ancient islands. The band drank around 18 beers before this was finished tracking, yet their wisdom shines through with the help of Metal Mafia Records jefe Eduardo. After spending nearly half his life in New England,Tom Sly is a moving to Los Angeles. We also consider what lies ahead for artists throughout the next 4 years as we are on the eve of the Trump administration's inauguration.
