I'm Familiar With That

We've got episode 16 for ya here, and Tom's been sucked into the Pokemon vortex. We've also got a lot of thoughts on automation, closed borders, books we've read, and things of that nature. It's a long one so I guess we probably covered more than that, but how should I know? There's absolutely no technology that would allow me to check what we talked about, so please -- stop asking!

We recorded right in the middle of a coup, so, forgive us if we sound like idiots by the time this drops. Also we talk about Pokemon.

We're back with an update on Navajo code talkers, and their tale goes back farther than we expected. We've got some training advice for you regarding dogs, and also monkeys, a little bit. Humans, we're not so sure about… Finally, tales from power and refined oil shortages. Boy it's a great one. Really takes your mind off things!

We're back, and we've got tales of the heist of the century, what to do if you're turned into a turtle, and how the Germans (unsuccessfully) tried to win WW2. All that, and some other stuff too! No way I can remember everything we covered, I mean, c'mon now, gimme a break!

We're turning over a new leaf -- we're always positive! Hear us put a positive spin on Brexit (hint: it involves James Joyce) and then see how long it takes us to fall off the wagon. It's a good one, I promise!

On episode 11, we return from a New Jersey wedding with tales of fawn sightings, information about the traffic last weekend, and even a little bit of HTML talk. Give it a listen, is what I'd tell you to do.

Episode 10 is here, and right off the bat things go wrong with the introduction. We talk mostly about Silicon Valley (the show), Jekyll (the program), and - you guessed it - Tom's back. All that PLUS a real downer of an ending!!!

Tom's back from Las Vegas and he's got side dish of a heartwarming tale to go with his usual main course of complaints. KA has some thoughts about budgets that's, quite frankly, difficult to understand. You won't wanna miss this one!

Straight up we start with game of thrones “spoilers,” in a way. So watch out for that if you're a person who cares about that (weirdo). Professional accomplishments immediately turn to fears. Which soundtracks are good, and is Hamilton included? (Hint: Tom's stuck in the mindset of an emo adolescent, so, no). Why watching movies, and actually TV shows as well, is for suckers. Underpants talk. Finally, Las Vegas – what it means, whether it's fabulous, and how to win at casino games. Don't blame me if there are sync issues –- I tried my best.

This week: the newest (kinda) in animal psychology. Lines are drawn in the sand regarding pizza. Confusion on fonts. Some other tidbits as well!

Episode 6 is here and we mourn the loss of a sourdough starter. Some complaints are lodged in regards to developments around the neighborhood. We (mostly) agree that Harvard is not cool in general or in specific because of their recent administrative decisions. Tom fails to assign KA homework and they talk about it despite his wishes. Then, talk of photography and how wouldn't you know it, photographers featured in museums are pretty talented! Finally, KA reveals her secret invention from last week and our hosts workshop the idea. A new (low) bar is set for advice for our dear listeners.
