Jesus promises that if we hold on to Him, even when people mock us, our faith will be rewarded.

We need to learn to live for Jesus, not hold ourselves (and others) to expectations we'll never meet.

We may face many trials and hurt, even from those within the church, but we must hold on to Jesus and have faith that He will get us through.

In order to be closer to God, we must set our ego aside and learn to rely on Him.

We will experience unexpected storms in our lives, but as long as Jesus is in the we are assured that He is in control.

We must be careful not to give in to enticements seeking to pull us away from Jesus.

When we're down, beaten, broken, and in the dark, the one thing we need to hear is that there is hope and that there is a God who will come over and lift us back up again.

No matter how hard life may seem at times, even if we face death, Jesus promises that if we stay with Him we'll never be alone and have nothing to fear.

The heart of spiritual growth and the heart of spiritual life with God is growing to the place in your life where you trust God enough, where you love God enough, to trust Him with your life.

Throughout our day, we can witness simply by telling others what Jesus has done for us.

We are stronger when we are connected to Jesus.

What good is our faith if we don't also have love?

Part of spiritual growth is putting aside our differences and preconceived ideas and simply being a follower of Jesus.

How many of us are willing to see Jesus revealed as who He is?

Spiritual growth also requires that we work together as a team, helping each other grow.

How can God use our lives for His glory?

God works in us to help us grow spiritually.

Just like sheep know the sound of the shepherd's voice and will come to him, we must be sure that our ears are open to Jesus voice so that we can come to Him when He calls us.

It's not wrong for us to put effort into our spiritual growth, but God will make us grow. Our effort is about participating in the life He longs for us to live.
