Joining Brando as special co-host for episode 49 is Sir Kev from Ireland. Kev shared his GNR story on Ep. 27 as our first “fan obsession” interview. Kev and Brando first discuss the chat with Alan Niven from the last episode, which has since gone viral with the news of Izzy Stradlin showing up at a GNR sound check during the Not In This Lifetime tour. After “Shotgun News,” the boys are joined by legendary drummer, Steve Gorman. Most famously from the Black Crowes, now currently with Trigger Hippy and a radio host for Fox Sports. Steve takes us through his journey into radio and how the Black Crowes came to be. Most interesting for GNR fans, we learn about Steve’s time with Slash, and how their “band” would go on to be Velvet Revolver. Back in episode 27, we did our first "fan spotlight" interview with Kevin from Ireland. Learning about his life and why Guns N' Roses is a crucial part. GNR plays a role in so many lives, and there are so many untold stories to be heard...from you, the fans. Now 20 episodes later, our 2nd GNR fan interview is with Tomislav Versic from Croatia. Tomislav is a 49-yr-old married man with a son and a happy life. However, there was a time he had to blast Appetite for Destruction in his cassette player to distract from exploding grenades while he fought for his life in the Yugoslavian war. That is only part of his story. Tomislav and Brando give "Shotgun News," talk Dizzy Reed's debut solo record, and touch on some important issues. This episode is dedicated to all whole lost their lives and are affected the events in Broward County, Florida. Including Scott Beigel, a high school classmate of Brando, a heroic teacher who lost his life saving children.

Calling in from Las Vegas right before a gig with Gene Simmons, is Todd "Dammit" Kerns. While Todd has had success with his Canadian band, Age of Electric, his life forever changed nearly 8 years ago when he was asked to join Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. We talk to Todd what it was like growing up in the small province of Saskatchewan to eventually meeting Slash while they filmed the You Could Be Mine video. So we follow the path of Todd meeting a younger Slash to now traveling the world in the same band with him. Joining Brando on episode 45 is Tyler Bryant, from Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown. In just 26 years of life, Tyler has accomplished so much. Opening for Jeff Beck, B.B. Tyler talks about his experiences being on Brian Johnson's final shows with AC/DC, how Axl saved that tour with Angus Young, and how he started this amazing career path. Back in 2010, a very controversial and thought-provoking book was published, "The Last Living Slut: Born In Iran, Bred Backstage." Roxana Shirazi, the author, joins the AFD show on episode 44. Roxana discusses her book, which has a Guns N' Roses logo on the cover, yet that cover is banned in many countries. The content of the book has also put her life in jeopardy in home country of Iran. Her tale takes us through oppression (both political and sexual) to her days of hanging out with bands like Buckcherry, Rammstein, and of course...GNR. Back in episode 34, guitarist Ryan Roxie referred to the 2nd Slash's Snakepit record as "rocks best kept secret." Art gives us an update on his special 10-year-anniversary article about Chinese Democracy and his anticipated new GNR book. Which leads us to our guest, Bryan "Brain" Mantia. Brain has played with some of the best, including Buckethead, Tom Waits, Primus...and Guns N' Roses. During the infamous Chinese Democracy era of Guns, Brain was the drummer after Josh Freese and before Frank Ferrer. Brain tells us all. From his upbringing, being buds with Bucket, to joining Primus, his professional and personal relationship with Melissa Reese, how & why he joined, then left, Guns N' Roses, all things Chinese Democracy, and even if he has any regrets about leaving the band. Episode 39 of The AFD Show is Scotto’s last unfortunately, but he’s going out interviewing one of his favorite all-time songwriters. Scotto and Brando are joined by Deron Miller, formerly of CKY and now with 96 Bitter Beings. Guns N’ Roses fans should remember CKY as GNR’s tour opener on the ill-fated 2002 Chinese Democracy tour before it was cancelled. Deron said this is the first time in 15 years anyone has asked him about that tour. How did the band get chosen by Axl? What was his experience? And most importantly, what happened?!
