This was one of the first interviews I did for the I'm Kinda Famous podcast. I have said on the show many times I like to drop an interview when it helps the guest promote. Well this was recorded in the early days and now that the album dropped we finally put out this great deep discussion me and Wichita rap artist Big Sam aka Samuel David had on the art of music. As a lover of all things, true crime it's a very ill painted excitement to get the chance to do my first true crime episode of the podcast. This one is about Kenneka Jenkins, a 19-year-old found in a hotel freezer after partying with friends. The case as of this episode remains unsolved. With me doing the dance of armchair detective is Domonique Vontress who you may have heard in the background of the last episode during the Queen X Live recording with Autumn Black. She is a fan of true crime and all that extra mystery related stuff and is a little ball of energy. We dig into the weeds talking about the conspiracies cycling through the internet, some of the possibilities, and I was lucky enough to have a friend that works in the investigation field that I leaned on to research this show providing feedback to some of the weirdness in how this case is being handled and scenarios of possibilities. Podcasting in front of the people We stopped by the Queen X Fall Release party Flawless Salon and Boutique at 4540 E 13th st Wichita Kansas to talk to the CEO and Editor in Chief of Queen X Magazine Autumn Black. Not only do we talk to her but the audience at her event chimed in throughout making for some interesting and informative exchanges. We briefly touched on the Kenneka Jenkins mystery (which I will cover in a later episode), Queen X and what it's about, Financial intelligence, Autumn's other business ventures, making Caddilac Chronicles, being a vegetarian, and I had to also remind a room full of black women that black men don't cheat...
