Why was God mad at Balaam when he appeared to obey? Is “once saved, always saved” actually true? Should I get baptized a second time if I was already baptized as a child? What kind of authority do we have over demons? How should we exercise it? How can I find relief from intrusive thoughts about God and blasphemy? I tend to think in images and pictures. I’m wondering if there’s anything wrong with this?

Discussion Questions for Ephesians 5:18-33: Read verse 21. How was this idea radical and counter-cultural in its day? How about today? Read verses 22-24. How could this be a challenging (even alarming) passage for wives? How does the context of verse 21 reveal God’s heart in the matter? Read verse 25. How does “gave Himself up for her” relate to a husband’s treatment of his wife? Give examples. How does this not mean “be a doormat”? Read verses 26-27. What is God’s view of the church? And God’s view of you? Read verses 28-29. Consider all the ways we respect and care for our own bodies. Now relate those to a husband’s treatment of his wife. What is God trying to tell us? Read verses 31-32. What exactly is the great mystery? (Notice the expressions “leave” and “join” and “one flesh.”) How does this mystery impact you personally?

Have you faced opposition in your ministry? Has it been a struggle? I’ve experienced some failed relationships. Is it my fault? What can I do?

Does the Holy Spirit help us keep the Law? What does it mean to “gain the whole world and forfeit your soul”? What is the false teaching in 1 Timothy 4:1 really about? I love the freedom of God’s grace!

What is the soul? Is it the real me? Is it important to believe we have three parts (spirit, soul, and body) instead of just two? I’ve asked God for forgiveness over and over, but I still don’t feel forgiven. What can I do? Doesn’t the Lord’s Prayer say we’re supposed to ask Him to forgive us? My sister is Mormon, and I’m worried she’s missing her blessing due to false teaching. How can I share truth with her?

How can I know for sure that I’m saved? My son was killed in a car accident. Where was God‘s protection? Was his death untimely? Are paid pastors and the concept of elders a product of Constantine or Calvin? Or are they actually biblical?

Why don’t I always feel regret and remorse about sin if I am truly saved? Why does Romans 8:13 say “you must die”? Is it important to be legally married if we’re already married in the eyes of God? How can I share the Gospel with my Jewish friend?

How can I know if I’m chosen by God? I don’t have many friendships and wonder if it’s my fault? What should I do? Why did Jesus oh seem to hesitate but then miraculously make wine for the Cana wedding? Does the Holy Spirit help us keep the Law? Does He help us keep the Sermon on the Mount? I struggle with judging other people. How can I think differently? What is God’s will? How can I process past regrets in a healthy way? Are we close to the sixth trumpet?

Discussion Questions for Ephesians 5:1-18: What does it mean to be an “imitator of God”? How is this not faking it? Read verses 2-4. What are the two motivations here for upright living? Read verses 5-8 and react to this summary: “You’re no longer them, so don’t act like them.” Read verse 9-10. What does “the fruit of the Light” mean? What is pleasing to the Lord? React to this statement: Sin is disgraceful, unwise and doesn’t make the most of your time. Read verse 17. What is “the will of the Lord”? Can we know it? Read verse 18. What does it mean to be “filled with the Spirit”? How does Ephesians 3:19 help us here?

Why not just sin if we're totally forgiven? Is there a second baptism of the Holy Spirit that includes tongues? When do you receive the Spirit - at salvation or later? Are both men and women made in God's image? I'm born again now, and I wonder if I should continue to go to my Catholic church?

Why would we be judged for our sins if our sins are forgiven? God showed me how to break free from addiction! What are your thoughts on backsliding?

What does the Revelation 22 warning about adding or subtracting mean? Is the "sanctification" in Hebrews 10:14 progressive or finished? How does Hebrews 10:10 factor in? I feel burned out and I have lost some of my desire to pray for others. What should I do?

I have a toxic relationship with my ex-husband. What can I do to move on? My husband doesn't want to be intimate as much as I do. What should I do? So many things are going wrong in my life, and I feel overwhelmed with problems. Am I cursed?

I reported my friend because of the way they treat their granddaughter. I don’t know if I did the right thing. What is your viewpoint on Easter given its pagan roots? How can salvation be available for everyone if the Bible actually uses the word “predestined”? And what about “many are called but few are chosen”?

Is there any sadness or disappointment in Heaven? Will disputes be settled and bitterness be healed in Heaven? Do angels have bodies like humans? How are our minds renewed? I feel like I’m not living up to God’s expectations. I heard you teach that we don’t need to tithe 10% today. Where do we find that? What about Jesus’ instruction on tithing? I’ve been smoking for decades and can’t seem to stop. Does this mean I have a lack of faith? What does “help my unbelief” mean in Mark 24?

I get confused and even depressed from all the different theological viewpoints out there. Is Hell only for fallen angels? What is the main issue with Calvinism? Do we wait for God to bring us a spouse or do we actively seek one out? Or is there an entirely different perspective? What Bible version is the best and why?

Does our old self die when we believe? Does the Holy Spirit live in me or does Christ live in me? Why does Paul give instruction about women’s clothing but not men’s? What do you mean by “you can be yourself and express Jesus at the exact same time”?
