This time it's personal... The subject of race comes crashing back into the QnoA podcast, and Donovan and Harry aren't interested in taking any prisoners. What follows is a two and a half hour discussion on what the changing of fictional characters' race says about the fans, specifically those who protest it. A lot of harsh words are directed towards specific people, but not without the intention to educate, inform and converse with. Talking back at the talkbackers -- for all the good that television news is capable of, this good only comes as one possible consequence of great power. This is yet another narrative in our lives, a major socializing agent in the ranks of parents, school, friends, and the entertainment we actually enjoy. News is not only potentially dangerous for what we glean from it, but from what everyone else does. Paranoid yet?
