In our final Student Discussion episode of 2022, Caleb interviews Bowen, Wesley, Oliver, and Jett wrap up our family series.  They discuss the importance of trust in relationships, how Jesus can be the center of relationships, and how our perspective changes when we ask how Jesus would act if he was living our life.  They also make this the most interesting podcast of the year so far.  

In our last week of our Family Series, Sawyer talks about what it can look like for our families to walk with God together.

In this week's episode, Caleb talks with Avery, Reese, and Madeline about what is a priority for their family, and in what ways their families look to other things outside of God in order to thrive.  They take a break to dive into the amount of energy drinks and caffeine that Reese and Madeline consume before getting back on track.  They also talk about bleaching Todd's eyebrows in a certain Third-World Country. (NOTE: Todd will no longer be going to Nicaragua with students.)

In Week 3 of our family series, we talk about the importance of having the right priorities for our family in order to experience a thriving family and the blessings of God.  We also talk about the specific part that parents and students play in that.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Corey talks with Bowen and Cooper about the current state of their communication with parents, what ways they struggle to be on the same page with mom and dad, and how honest conversations can be difficult but necessary. They also talk sports,  homeschooling, the power of words, and a whole lot more!

In week 2 of our family series, we discuss one of the most important aspects of any relationship...communication.  Todd gives 4 keys to good communication and then interviews a family about their own struggles and successes in communication.

In this week's student discussion, Caleb talks with Corey and his mom, Amanda, about their own family dynamics, how they have learned to be present as a family, and what barriers they experience to a healthy family.  They also talk about why brokenness in families can cause people to turn away from the church rather than to the church.

In week 1 of our new series, we talk with parents and students about a building block to healthier families...being present with each other.

In this Breakout Session, 3 senior ladies speak on the idea that the Christian Life is easy, and why following Jesus is difficult but worth it.

In this Breakout Session, Lesther talks about the lie that we sometimes believe...that we are better than other people.  He helps us understand that all of us live by God's grace.

In this Breakout Session, Tyler talks about the belief that God just wants me to be happy, and the truth that God wants to give us something much better and more lasting than happiness.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Caleb talks with Jett and Oliver about who they can trust and if they've ever felt a sense of hopelessness.  How do they strive to keep hope in Jesus and live out their faith? They also discuss whether Daylight Savings should happen anymore, and Jett makes a bold claim...he is Batman.  

In this week's episode, Caleb talks with Addy and Anslie about our Halloween at Reckless night and the idea that "God could never love me."   As the rain falls in the background, the students discuss why lies like "God could never love me" can be so impactful and how they are learning to discern the voice of truth versus the lie.  They also talk about their least favorite candy and beg Todd for caffeine for the guests on the podcast.

At our Halloween at Reckless event, Ken discusses the lie that we can often believe - "God could never love me."  Have you ever believed that?  This message can help unlock the truth about the depths of God's love for you!

In this week's episode, Caleb talks with Reese and Charlie about how our culture encourages us to follow your heart and find our truth.   Why does that appeal to us?  How can students live with a better viewpoint than that?  We also found out that Charlie didn't listen to Todd's message, and the episode begins with an inspiring rendition of "Final Countdown"!  

In this week's message, we talk about the belief in our culture that says, "Follow Your Heart."  Why is this belief so attractive to us? What is the problem with living this way and how can we live in the truth?

In this week's episode, guest host Corey talks with Makayla, Derek, and Anslie about when they have felt they didn't need God.  They also talk about times they've realized that they actually do need God and how they try to live that way every day.  They also talk about their favorite Disney character, and Caleb can be heard lurking in the shadows, hoping not to be permanently replaced as podcast host.

This week at Reckless, it's SENIOR NIGHT!  Our Seniors lead us through the next lie that we believe, that we don't really need God.  How does this play out in our lives?  Why do we actually need God and how can we live that way?

In this week's Student Discussion, Caleb talks with Corey and Makayla about the lie, "I have no purpose."  How do we find our purpose in life?    Why is God's purpose for us better than anything else and what does that look like?  Corey and Makayla open up about their own struggles with finding purpose in life.They also discuss the question, "Crocs with socks or no socks?"  It was a little late when this episode was recorded, and our panel may sound a bit delirious. 

This week, we look at one of the first major lies that we believe from the enemy...that we have no purpose.  What happens when we believe that lie?  What is the truth and how can Jesus set us free to live out our incredible purpose?
