Console Room Chat – A Sad Man with a Box
02/07/2013 Duración: 52minThe Mad Man boys discuss and speculate on Matt Smith's pending departure. Completely wrong guesses and declarations! Names mentioned and dismissed! Not a tear shed…not that you can hear anyway. And I try really hard not to piss anyone off when we discuss the idea of a gender swap for the Doctor. Sorry for posting this so late and the not regular updates on the site. We've been in SDCC crunch mode for weeks now but enjoy!

Console Room Chat – You say Kovarian, I say Kevorkian
22/05/2013 Duración: 01h04minIt's our review of "The Name of the Doctor"! Theories are floated, disagreements are had, when Ewan and I sit down to discuss the series 7b finale. Is it everything we had hoped it would be? How do we feel about that cliffhanger ending? Will I ever get to ask Steven Moffat the burning questions I still have about the events at Trenzalore? No idea on that last question but the first two definitely get answered in this our last review episode of the podcast for at least a few months.

Console Room Chat – A Little Bit of Slack
16/05/2013 Duración: 01h01minOur review of "Nightmare in Silver" in which we earn our explicit tag. Even after recording and listening back to this episode I'm not quite sure we really know how we felt overall about Neil Gaiman's second Doctor Who script. We do have pretty strong and clear feelings about some of the elements though and listeners with sensitive ears should be cautious. We also spend a good amount of time talking about our excitement for "The Name of the Doctor." Listen for the cloister bell and you'll know where to turn off if you don't want to be spoiled.

Console Room Chat – Brave Heart Stephen
12/05/2013 Duración: 58minOur review of "The Crimson Horror" Looks like the site ate the original version of this so here it is again! I'n sure I had something incredibly witty to say here, but that's ok I know you just really want to listen to the episode. Enjoy!

Console Room Chat – Magic Talky Talky Box
02/05/2013 Duración: 55minIt's our review of "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS" Ewan and I go deep into the bowels of this episode that is jam packed with fanboy moments that would make even the most cynical squee. But how was it over all? Well you'll just have to listen to find out. Also for more of me (Stephen) talking about "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS" have a listen to the latest Sound on Sight Doctor Who podcast that you can find right HERE

Console Room Chat – Double Dates
26/04/2013 Duración: 01h06minOur review of "Hide" I just want to apologize in advance for all of the background noise, but this was so much fun to record and the conversation is great. We recorded at Ewan's house this past weekend and roped our significant others into participating...not that it was that difficult to get these two wonderfully opinionated ladies to voice their thoughts. It was all oddly appropriate as well considering Neil Cross' ghost story really was a love story. Awww. I hope you enjoy!

Console Room Chat – Oh Vienna!
17/04/2013 Duración: 51minIt'sssssss the MMWAB review of "Cold War"...and now that joke has run its course. So did the return of the Ice Warriors (well really an Ice Warrior) get our temperatures rising? What are our theories on Clara three episodes in? When will you get to hear Ewan and I sing "Back for Good?" Some of these questions and others are answered within. Listen and enjoy!

Console Room Chat – Regrettably Fighting
13/04/2013 Duración: 56minBetter late than never it's our review of "The Rings of Akhaten" The Doctor takes Clara on what now seems like the obligatory second episode trip to an alien world and the results are...well listen to the episode and find out what we think. Plus! news and speculation on the 50th anniversary special and other ramblings! Enjoy!

Console Room Chat – Never Have to Wait for Breakfast
04/04/2013 Duración: 54minIt's the MadMan review of "The Bells of Saint John!" New Doctor Who is here! Sorry for a bit of weirdness with the sound on this one folks, but it was recorded whilst I am in England and for some reason that made Ewan sound like he was recording in some kind of tunnel stretching between Los Angeles and London. Anyway, before getting into our episode review, we talk quite a bit about all of the news and spoilers coming out fast and furious regarding the the 50th anniversary episode and then dive right into "The Bells of Saint John." The usual gushing and conflicted feelings regarding Steven Moffat are ever present of course. Let me reiterate though, lost of spoilers and speculation going on in this episode so if you want to go into the next year fresh, you may want to point your ears elsewhere. But if you want to get excited about everythign 2013 holds for us please listen away and as always enjoy!

Chip the Two-minute Time Lord
21/01/2013 Duración: 57minI suspect Chip gave a listen to the "End of Time" episode and felt moved to action enough come on the podcast and lay down some very strong pro-RTD statements. I have to say despite my Moffat fanboyism and Chip's RTD fanboyism we don't disagree with quite as much as he or I (or you the listeners) were probably thinking that we would. We still have a lively discussion though and I think Chip makes a very strong case for not dismissing the series 4 finale quite as easily as a lot of people do. Don't forget to give a listen to The Two-minute Time Lord Podcast at

The Snowmen Review with Ewan Anderson
29/12/2012 Duración: 58minEwan joined me all the way from Scotland to talk about this year's Christmas special and as always we had a blast! This episode can barely be called a review. I feel like there was so much I wanted to cover and talk about in regards to "The Snowmen" but I'm pretty sure you all would be bored by that 3 hour episode. It was just that good in my eyes. Luckily Ewan agreed and the two of us just gush in this episode. I hope you enjoy our ramblings as much as we enjoyed recording them. Also listen to the end for a very special announcement!

Ken Deep
20/12/2012 Duración: 55minI'm back! Ken Deep has always been one of my favorite podcasters and it was an utter delight to have him as a guest on the show. We may have missed getting this episode out for the 49th anniversary of Doctor Who, but it's never too late to shower some love on our favorite show. Ken and I spend a lot of time doing just that as well as opining on the exciting year that we hope Moffat has planned for us. Is "The Five Doctors" a good template for what we can expect this year? No one knows but the production team. But you can listen to the episode and find out what we think. Brian Uiga
16/11/2012 Duración: 01h17minPaul McGann only had one outing as the Doctor on screen, but boy was it a doozy. Brian Uiga has a unique insight into the 1996 TV movie it having been his first exposure to our beloved show. We take a deep look at it and figure out if it still holds up. Brian also spends some time talking about his various prop restoration projects including the console seen in this movie! Matt Munson
08/11/2012 Duración: 53minSome staunch RTD defending this week from the very smart and talented Matt Munson as we take on the ninth Doctor's second episode. I don't know if we really meant for this to turn into a RTD era vs. Moffat era discussion, but it turned out that way and I think we take a really interesting look at just how much the show has changed since it came back in 2005. There is definitely a lot about RTD's era that I dislike but it has to be said that he really got it right at the beginning and I think Matt and I make a really good case for that. This was another really fun episode to record. Subscribe to Matt's YouTube channel "The Project Workbench" Read "The Project Workbench" blog

Jason Snell
01/11/2012 Duración: 45minJason Snell, Macworld and The Incomparable, joins me this week to discuss the episode that brought our beloved show back from the dead. Jason clearly lays out the case for why "Rose" may not have known what it was or what Doctor Who was going to be but it was still exactly what the show needed for its glorious comeback episode. And I agree with him. Somehow we do it all without mentioning Graham Norton's famous interruption. Follow Jason on Twitter @jsnell Subscribe to The Incomparable on iTunes

James Rockliffe
25/10/2012 Duración: 44minMy quest to have every Doctor Who podcaster as a guest continues with James from The Doctor Who Podcast and he brings with him the milestone of a sixth Doctor story for MMWAB! It's no secret that I am not the biggest fan of the sixth Doctor, but there really is a lot about "Vengeance on Varos" that supersedes any of my issues with this incarnation of our beloved character. Also James does a fantastic job of putting me in my place about my problems with Colin Baker and the sixth Doctor and even has me reconsidering my stance. Thank you James for an excellent chat that I hope you listeners will enjoy as well! Roth Cornet
18/10/2012 Duración: 51minAfterbuzz TV's Roth Cornet joins me this week to talk about a very important episode in the history of modern Doctor Who. I know it has been a few weeks since my last episode but hopefully this episode will more than make up for it because I think it is fantastic. I met Roth at San Diego Comic Con this year and we immediately hit it off over our love of all things Who. We decided right off the bat that we wanted to talk about this series 5 2-parter because of the important part it played in not only the larger Doctor Who mythology but behind the scenes of the show as well. It is definitely a fun chat that goes a little astray in places but is very entertaining. Follow Roth on Twitter @JRothC to keep up with her writing and hosting gigs.

The Angels Take Manhattan Review with Ewan Anderson
02/10/2012 Duración: 46minI hope you are prepared for a very somber podcast... Both still reeling from the very emotional ride that Steven Moffat took us on with this episode, Ewan and I attempted to tackle a review. Like our review of the episode I don't have much to say except that I'm sure most of you are feelings the same feelings we were when we recorded. Goodbye Ponds. You will be missed.

The Power of Three Review with Brian, Kyle and Ewan
25/09/2012 Duración: 01h01minIf there's one thing to be learned from this week's episode it is to trust in the power of three, that's why I brought on three special guests to help me dissect it! Brian Walton, Kyle Anderson and Ewan Anderson (no relation) join me this week to discuss Chris Chibnall's second contribution to series 7A and I think we all feel pretty much the same about it though some of us have more feelings than others. We also talk a little about what we're expecting for "The Angels Take Manhattan" and rather surprisingly do so without revealing much (if at all) in the way of spoilers. Episodes like this are the reason I started this podcast. Don't forget, if you are in LA this Saturday Sept 29th, be sure to head over to the NerdMelt Theater in the back of Meltdown Comics for the first of their new monthly screenings of classic Doctor Who episodes hosted by my Kyle Anderson himself! A Town Called Mercy Review with Kyle Anderson
17/09/2012 Duración: 41minToby Whithouse puts the Doctor, Amy and Rory in the American wild west and Nerdist.com's Kyle Anderson joins me to figure out if this episode is as good as I think it is... This episode was shot in the same locations as some of the classic spaghetti westerns and features a terminator-esque character called the Gunslinger what could possibly go wrong? I'm not sure, but Kyle and I spend a good time dissecting and discussing and very emotionally complex episode. Please share your thoughts in the comments or on Twitter.
