For many people, this reflects what Karen Armstrong calls the 'Auschwitz Test': how can I believe in a god who was either powerless to prevent atrocities like those of the Nazis, or who chose not to do so? In this service I use ideas from Process Theology to propose one solution to this problem: the idea of a divine mystery present in creation, whose own manifestation and evolution is linked with our own, and indeed that of the universe.'"
