Derek Bartholomaus is the creator of the Billy Meier UFO Case website. Derek began investigating the claims of Billy Meier in 2003 when he was part of the Independent Investigations Group (IIG). Michael Horn had started challenging the IIG to “prove that Meier’s UFO photos were a hoax. The Billy Meier UFO Case website was constructed as a repository of various investigations into the claims of Billy Meier. Much of the research has been done by Derek personally. The rest has been published with permission of other people who have looked into the claims of Billy Meier. Derek works professionally in the entertainment industry as a Post Production Producer on various televisionshows. He is also the creator of the Anti-Vaccine Body Count (formerly known as the Jenny McCarthy Body Count) website. Derek has not had the time to update either website since fostering, and then adopting, children in 2015.

Robert Powell - Robert Powell was born in La Rochelle, France in 1953 and moved to the U.S. when he was 3 years old. He has a BS in Chemistry and is a former collegiate debater. He has 28-years-experience in engineering management in the semiconductor industry. He helped Advanced Micro Devices develop its first flash memory technology that is used in today’s flash cards for cameras, PCs, video cameras, and other products. His experience includes managing a state-of-the-art chemistry laboratory and managing a Research and Development group that worked on nanotechnology using atomic force microscopes, near-field optical microscopy, and other techniques. Brad Steiger - Brad Steiger claims to have written his first book at age seven but doesn’t claim it as his first published book. His first book, Ghosts, Ghouls and Other Peculiar People, was published in 1965. He became a full-time writer by 1967. He has authored/co-authored almost 170 books, which have sold 17 million copies. I mention that he wrote the bestseller Strangers from the Skies about UFOs because I remember sitting in high school study hall reading this book rather than the biology text that I was supposed to be reading. I have known Brad for decades and remember calling him many years ago to ask about a specific case of a mysterious disappearance from the early 20th Century. He told me it was a hoax. Since that time, I have followed his career and note that we sometimes argue about who has written the most books about UFOs. I believe it was he and he believes it is me. Rob Swaitek has a degree in physics and spent his career at the US Patent and Trademark Office working on intellectual properties in a number of areas including aeronautics and astronautics.His UFO involvement goes back to 1968 during what he called his larval stage, when the ongoing sightings and the University Colorado UFO study permanently nailed his attention. Don Schmitt resides in his native Wisconsin on a 45-acre ranch located just outside of Milwaukee in Hubertus. He has a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University and has taken graduate courses in criminal justice at St. John’s University. He has worked for the US Postal Service for the past 23 years.
