While a surprise trade or other exciting move like an offer sheet could potentially still be on the table, it feels like Danny Briere’s heavy lifting is done for Summer 2025, having secured center depth in both free agency and the draft, upgraded the goaltending position, and taking a swing on a potential star in the Trevor Zegras trade.So with the offseason moves probably wrapped up, Charlie & Bill are debating their grades for Philly’s GM, as well as comparing where the Flyers are in their rebuild to historical rebuilds of the Salary Cap Era.

Is Danny done? There are still some lower level free agents available, and a few trade options that would require salary cap gymnastics, but there’s a strong chance the Philadelphia Flyers roster today is the roster we saw when training camp and the preseason begin.
