Conversation 257:  The Story, Journey and Passion of La'Darius Madison, MPH, RDN, LD Today’s conversation is with La’Darius Madison, a registered dietitian who always had a passion for the sciences and healthcare, but had some ups and downs with chemistry classes. While he was deciding between pharmacy, OT and other health sciences, he found public health and dietetics along the way and everything started to make sense. During her time as a student, she kept feeling the tug to direct patient care and after asking a mentor their thoughts, they shared more about renal nutrition and she has been working in this field ever since. She has her masters in counseling,  is currently a renal dietitian, has her own business and a valuable program called Dietitian Counselling Skills Program and is fiercely combining the two areas by getting her PhD in renal nutrition and counseling.
