The Matt chose this 2004 behind the curtain look at Metallica. The band struggles to work together to find a new sound and enough cohesion to carry on through a difficult period of flux for the group's key members. Tubes has done it again with this romantic-story-plot-movie brought to us by Michael Douglas and Robert Zemeckis. Kathleen Turner (who is just wonderful) plays "Joan Wilder" a romance novelist who gets involved in a hunt to find "El Corazon" a gemstone the size of a baseball. Unfortunately she meets a guy named "Jack" played by Douglas and things go downhill from there. Kathleen tries her best, but she just couldn't quite save this one single handedly.   Also we do a a new Veto segment!   2bs P.S. I adore Kathleen Turner. Watch "War Of The Roses" instead. In that movie she bites Micheal Douglas in the groin and breaks his ribs. It's awesome.

Attentive fans may have already noticed that we mentioned our "Matrix Resurrections" review during our previous episode when we discussed "The Shawshank Redemtion". You may also notice that this episode kicks off with a short talk about new years eve. Bob Gunton's best role outside of Shawshank is "Junction Jack" on "Greg The Bunny" Go watch "Greg The Bunny" its great, and "Junction Jack" is my favorite part of it. I can't believe I had an excuse to bring up "Greg The Bunny" during a review of "Shawshank" and missed it. You know... I've missed two major opportunities to bring up "Star Trek" as well ....ugh...   Tubes
