003: Science and the Right to Life
14/01/2017 Duración: 27minThe right to life is a "self-evident," observable truth. Honest, unbiased science is on the side of life. America's laws are based upon observable, self-evident truths. In order to be valid, science must exist in an ordered universe. Roger Bacon, the fonder of 'modern science' beginning in the 1200's was indeed a Christian, but this simply gave him an affirmation that there is an order to the universe. Science (i.e. observable knowledge) is the foundation for natural law. The laws regarding abortion in the US, started coming into effect after the Civil War. Two important principles were in play. Advances in science declared that this was clearly a living human being, and the law - now 'post-slavery' - declared that ALL human beings should be protected by the law. The abortion debate is not about religion but observable scientific fact. Air Date: 1-14-2017
