He not only competes in 3 Gun, but also in High Power which are those scoped bolt action rifles that shoot far distances. Bennie works full time on a SWAT team and as a firearms instructor. He teaches private groups for competition and elite military and law enforcement personnel with his training company, Crisis Resolution Training Consultants. Bennie has been shooting his entire life and currently lives out in Idaho. Recently Bennie launched his own product for rifles which allows the person to stay on the scope while seeing if the rifle is level. His SPEAR (Spontaneous Protection Enabling Accelerated Response) system of close quarter defense is currently being taught in all levels of law enforcement and in military groups. His company is Blauer Tactical Systems and it has several branches to meet the needs of elite athletes, high speed SWAT officers, and even the soccer moms. Tony can be controversial to some people who claim he is against their brand of martial art but Tony explains that no matter what martial art or self defense class you take, there is no way to train for an ambush. You can’t know where you will be or what you will be doing when the ambush happens, but you can learn to utilize your flinch response and make that the launch into what ever art you’ve learned. Jessie competes in handgun competitions and was the first female to make Grandmaster classification in USPSA in the Open Division. He has competed since he was a young boy when his father took him to the local bowling pin matches. FNP 004 : Bob Vogel and Jessica Hook - Powerfactor Couple

He competes in both USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association) and IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association). Bob also shoots for Team USA in the IPSC World Shoot. Bob has won 3 world championships, 23 national championships and also had time to be a full time law enforcement officer in Ohio where he was a firearms instructor and SWAT operator. Bob retired from law enforcement and competes full time as a professional shooter. He has made several videos on pistol shooting and now teaches across the world with his company Vogel Dynamics. Several years ago he was introduced to Jessica Hook who was a game designer. FNP 003 : Bruce Gray - The Gray Wizard
24/03/2017 Duración: 43minBruce Gray is a master level gunsmith, competitive shooter and reserve deputy sheriff. He has worked in the firearms world for over 40 years. Bruce is known as the guy who makes your SigSauer pistol sing, in fact he just released a new trigger for the highly successful striker fired Sig P320 (which just won the new Army pistol contract). Bruce stared working on guns when he was 16 years old and then began competing in International Pistol Shooting Confederation (IPSC) and then United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) when it formed. He rose as a sponsored shooter to the level of grandmaster and now teaches other shooters not only “how” to shoot but how to control your emotions when shooting. He was elected a year ago and since then the membership has gone up and he has introduced a new division, Pistol Caliber Carbine, into competition. Mike has also taken on several major issues including having a Spring Nationals (the Optic Nationals going on the weekend of 3/25/17) and possible explosion from the International Pistol Shooting Confederation (IPSC) which governs the 2017 World Shoot in France. Mike has a background in competitive shooting and worked for a company that sold shooting related products for many years. FNP 001: Keith Garcia - Surfing Mavericks
24/03/2017 Duración: 36minIn the first episode of the Firearms Nation Podcast I talk with 3 Gun Nation competitor Keith Garcia and we talk about guns in California, shooting PCC and surfing. I learned that Keith has been a California police officer for over 20 years. He has run the gamut of various positions in the department but is know for being on the SWAT team as it's leader. Keith started competing in 2004 in local police matches and then USPSA but once he tried shooting 3-Gun, his life changed forever. Keith won the first ever "3 Gun Nation" shoot-off at SMM3G in 2010 and in 2011. He also had his first major match victory at the first "Pro Series" match in St. Augustine Florida. Keith also won the 3 Gun National Championship in 2013.
