#72: From Drugs To Plants with Adam Sud
29/03/2016 Duración: 41minAdam Sud (pronounced like a soap sud) is addicted to a plant-based lifestyle. This is the first time he has actually been proud to associate himself with addiction. Back in 2013, Adam was addicted to fast food and Adderall, a drug that is often prescribed for those dealing with ADHD in their lives. Adam describes the drug as a molecule away from meth, which is pretty scary. Back then, Adam looked at himself in the mirror and decided that he was "sick and tired of being sick and tired" and switched to a plant-based lifestyle. The plant-based food that he ate worked hand in hand with his recovery and rehabilitation. Today, Adam works with other individuals who might be dealing with addiction in their life and helps them to not only recover but to prevent relapse by incorporating a plant-based diet into their recovery plan.

#71: Orlando City Soccer's Decio Lopez
16/03/2016 Duración: 27minToday’s episode is with Decio Lopes. Decio works with Orlando City Soccer and happens to be the Director of an amazing film that premiered in 2015 at a film festival here in Orlando called “Making History.” I live in Orlando as most of you know and am a big fan of Orlando City Soccer, so I had to have Decio on the show. I reached out to him for an interview and he originally had to turn me down because he did not feel 100% comfortable speaking with me in English, so I reached back out again with my good friend Natalia, who is bilingual and happens to be the biggest Orlando City fan in all of Central Florida. Her and her husband have been to all the games and have been season ticket holders since day one. These people bleed purple folks! So with Natalia on board to do the interview for me in Spanish, Decio agreed to talk with me. So as you might guess, today’s podcast is completely in Spanish, but if you visit leangreendad.com in the podcast section, you can find a full transcript of the interview in English,

#69: Vegan Bodybuilding Clean Machine Geoffrey Palmer
02/03/2016 Duración: 58minGeoffrey Palmer is a vegan bodybuilder. Sometimes those two words (vegan and bodybuilder) don't seem like they go together since most of America thinks we get our protein from meat. Geoff has been doing this for 31 years and was vegan before it was "cool" to be vegan. With a degree in biopsychology and a passion for fitness, Geoff has created and trademarked some of the best muscle-promoting products on the market. He is the CEO and Founder of the Clean Machine line of products. The great thing about all of his products is that they are made from plants and make your body more efficient at digesting and using protein. Imagine having to drink less protein, but making it more efficient with essential digestive enzymes your body needs to do the work that it needs to do in order to optimize your nutrition! I learned more talking to Geoff than I have learned in quite a while on protein, how it works in the body and how to most effectively promote the growth of strong muscle tissue. Enjoy!
