Sinopsis

Meeple Overboard! is a podcast about board games, the gaming community, and our little slice of heaven that plays them.  We're Chris and Wendy, and we love board games.  Each Saturday, we'll bring you a half-hour episode featuring three segments:1. Shop Talk!  We'll discuss a general board gaming topic, answer your questions, or discuss some news.2. Random Rally!  We've got lots of interests, and eat lots of tasty things, and have a lot to share. Random Rally! is a few minutes of food for thought on a different topic each week.3. Game Time!  Let's dive into a game and tell you what we think about it.  We love playing a wide, wide variety of games, so there's lots to review.  We'll even take some recommendations.Join us each Saturday for some fun conversation!  Contribute to the conversation on our Facebook and Instagram pages or by email.  Send us any questions you'd like us to answer.www.facebook.com/meepleoverboardwww.instagram.com/meeple.overboardmeepleoverboard@gmail.comboardgamegeek.com/guild/2946

  • First-Timer Convention Guide, and Hindsight Reviews (February 2017)

    09/02/2019 Duración: 31min

This episode, we revisit some reviews we did two years ago! As they always say, hindsight is worth two in the bush before gift horses hatch. We want to start making this a recurring item, to revisit our review to games that we have previously done. How have our opinions changed in that time? Do we still own the game, or have we even played it since then? Also, we give some tips and pointers to newcomers to board game conventions, as we figured it could be useful. Enjoy!Meeple Overboard is a proud member of the Dice Tower Network! For other great gaming podcasts, go check out www.dicetower.com/dice-tower-network
