Baxie welcomes back Robyn Hitchcock to the podcast! In a career that has spanned well over 45 years (starting with The Soft Boys and more than 30 albums to his credit) Robyn Hitchcock would have been within his right to publish a memoir that told his entire life story. But in typical Robyn fashion he chose to do something totally different. Instead, he chose to tell the story of himself at the age of 14. The name of the book is called "1967: How I Got There and How I Never Left". Robyn takes a detailed account of the most pivotal year of his life. This is a year where he was sent to boarding school, cannonballed into puberty, and discovered the music that would set the course for his entire career. On top of the book, Robyn has also released a companion album titled, "1967: Vacations in the Past". This is not merely a record of cover-tunes from that year. This is the soundtrack of Robyn's life. The record includes songs from The Kinks, Traffic, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Procol Harem, The Beatles, and
