These were a series of murders of mostly sex workers spanning from the early 1990s to 2011. On July 13, 2023, police arrested Rex Heuermann outside his office in Manhattan (New York City), and have since charged him with 6 of the killings. Filmmaker Josh Zeman joins to share details of the case, which he documented in the 2016 4-hour docuseries, The Killing Season. Former senior intelligence official and special agent, Luis “Lue” Elizondo, was recruited into the US government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, a $22 million program sponsored by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to study UFOs. Lue resigned in 2017 in protest of excessive government secrecy regarding UFOs.
