  • WLRN Extended Interview with joey brite

    15/06/2021 Duración: 01h26min

WLRN’s Mer Safina sat down with joey brite on May 23rd, 2021 to record this interview. Joey brite is the producer of the 13-hour marathon gender-critical conference entitled, Can I Get a Witness that was held in August of 2020. Five hundred people from 10 countries were mostly glued to their screens where presenters followed one-after-the-next as a simultaneous event was occurring in private Discord rooms. Joey could not imagine the types of alliances that would be made that day and the activist projects that were born affecting hundreds of people’s lives. But what it all led to for her was a more concerted effort towards the basics she had learned during her early days during second-wave lesbian feminism: grassroots organizing. This conversation focuses on her passion for protesting the destruction of the bodies and minds of children and youth through the hugely financed industry of gender ideology that is ripping the fabric of our humanity apart. https://www.bitchute.com/video/OysQ1S… https://www.facebo

  • The song 'Trans'

    11/06/2021 Duración: 03min

This is a song Thistle wrote and recorded six years ago when she was first connecting the dots about transgender ideology. Lyrics 'Trans' is a liberal construct invented by white straight men that shuts down our discussions of their violent power and then they 'win' Violent power begins with man over woman and then it all spins off from there into this postmodern racist sexist nightmare... What would be the opposite if 'trans' was real? ('cis, 'cis) Only those seduced by power expect the whole world to be a personal deal! Who make it their standard, only personal word their proof, to be the center of everything! While the earth chokes and dies of their spoof...their spoof! The joke's on you, there are better things to do and in the meantime, we are igniting, yes in the meantime we are uniting... The distance between us seems greater than the sum of the parts. My heart is beating while the ozone is depleting it's way too hard! To be hopeful for the future, for humanity, my greattest hope is that me an

On December 15th, 2020, Thistle sat down with Political Cartoonist from the UK, Stella Perrett, to talk about her new book called "2020 -- The Year We All Were Cancelled!" The book is a collection of Stella's best political cartoons from the year and synopses of cases of people or ideas that were "cancelled" due to expressing views that are not mainstream. As a feminist activist, she is co-founder of Feministes de Catalunya, a radical feminist organization that is part of the Spanish Confluencia Movimiento Feminista. http://movimientofeminista.org/ In this interview, I spoke with Silvia about her feminist activist work with the newly formed umbrella organization of almost 60 feminist groups uniting under the heading of "Confluencia" or "Coming Together." My hope is that American listeners will gain in understanding the possibility and political power of uniting behind key feminist principles for the common good. We are stronger together as a political force for change. Thank you to the Spanish women who are modeling f

  • Linda Conroy speaks with WLRN about Women & Animals

    03/12/2020 Duración: 25min

Last month, I took a tour of Moonwise Herbs and then sat down to talk with Linda Conroy on her land in southern Wisconsin where she teaches classes and holds women's herbal apprenticeship programs. The focus of our discussion was on the many animals Linda co-habits with on the land and maintains relationships with throughout the seasons. Our conversation culminates with Linda describing a recent ceremony she and other women took part in to bring death to some drakes (male ducks) for the many reasons Linda talks about in the interview. Hear this eloquent wise woman speak about the interconnection of all beings in the webs of life we live and create, and how women in particular, benefit and give benefit when it comes to our relationships with animals. ~ Thistle
