Some thoughts are from us, some are from our past, and some are opinions and ideologies of the world. Strongholds are not demons but false beliefs and thought patterns that become a fortress that Satan uses to enslave us. Satan hides in our mental strongholds, but the process of meditation renews our minds and pulls down spiritual strongholds.

When we use it in meditation, we can visualize God's promises and see ourselves as God sees us—righteous and holy in Christ. Jesus faced attacks on His identity both at the beginning and the end of His ministry. In Matthew 4, Satan repeatedly tempts Jesus with the phrase, "If you are the Son of God..." This reveals an important truth: our opponent knows that if he can confuse our identity, he can disrupt our future.Jesus countered these attacks with Scripture. There are two types of fear: demonic fear and godly fear. Demonic fear distances individuals from God, while godly fear promotes a righteous life, aligning hearts with His holiness. Demonic fear pushes people away from God, whereas godly fear leads them toward a life of righteousness.
